5.0 out of 5 stars Good smartwatch
I have been using this for a few days and so far love it. Took a bit to understand limited instructions, but once I read it thru a few times I got it. Easy to connect to blue tooth and do blood pressure, oxygen, and heart rate which is why I decided to get watch. It doesn't exactly match blood pressure monitor I have, but close. I would get this again.
4.0 out of 5 stars Does some things well
UPDATE: Customer service gets an A+They read my review here and reached out to me about the issues I was experiencing. I shared screenshots and we discussed each issue in detail. They have all the information now and I hope they use it to improve the app (at the very least). I definitely felt heard by them and would encourage other customers to reach out to support with any questions or concerns.BATTERY LIFE: The battery life is very impressive. I played with the watch a lot this past week as I was learning all the different features and functions and it held up well until suddenly it didn't. I noticed the battery indicator was dropping fairly quickly through the day (day 8 of wearing the watch). I have several features turned on that do decrease battery life (health monitoring). I made sure the display brightness was turned down to help save battery. At critical battery levels, the watch notified me. I was able to go into settings on the watch and put it into power save mode. This turns off the Bluetooth connection to my phone; stops all message notifications, reminders to move and drink, and continuous health monitoring; and prevents the display from lighting up with a wrist turn. It does continue to count steps so that information is not lost. As soon as I got home, I put it on the charger. By going into power save mode, it had just enough power to make it through the rest of the day (even with me checking it every hour or so to be sure it was still on haha).---------- Original review below:I was looking for an affordable smartwatch-style replacement for my older name-brand wearable. Having used this for not quite a week and going from liking it to hating it and back to "it's good enough," I feel comfortable sharing my first impressions. The wristband had to go. I hate the feel of the rubbery "sport" wristbands and much prefer metal or fabric wristbands. The black band that came with the watch seemed to grab every piece of lint and dust that came in contact with it and hold on to it for dear life. Fortunately the band is replaceable with any style band that you prefer that will fit a 22mm watch. I switched to fabric and I'm much happier with the fit and feel.Battery life seems good so far. I have played with it quite a bit just trying to get familiar with all the features and I'm pretty impressed with how well it is holding a charge. I do have the constant health monitor setting turned on which does affect battery life somewhat but I really like having those stats available. POSSIBLE APP BUG - You can see heart rate and blood pressure charted throughout the day, but the SpO2 stats don't have a chart like that. It just says "no data available" and all it gives is the current number in the app.I love the huge variety of watch faces available. If you can't find one you like, you can make your own background from a photo. It will only show time and day/date if you make your own but your stats are just a couple of swipes away. POSSIBLE APP BUG - There are several dial faces that are loaded in the watch itself and the app appears to be able to update those so you can have multiple dials of your own choosing available on the watch, but I haven't found a way to access any but the one face currently pushed from the app. That was disappointing since I like a darker watch face available at nighttime and I'm already tired of manually pushing it from the app to the watch every night before bed.Speaking of night, there is a do not disturb setting available but no way to schedule it so you have to manually trigger it every night. It prevents notifications from the phone from coming through and also blocks the wrist turn from lighting up the dial, which is good. Unfortunately, the sleep tracking function is not good at all. I tend to wake up a few times a night but go right back to sleep. The watch is unable to recognize that this is a continuation of sleep so I consistently am shown the last sleep of the night as if it was all the sleep I got. That's disappointing. Now on to notifications. The Good: You can set the app on your phone to send notifications to the watch from any app you have installed. That includes notifications like, say, the Domino's app that sends status notifications of your pizza delivery order. I also love the reminders to move and the reminders to drink water; I struggle with those personal health areas and the watch buzzing periodically to remind me is very helpful. The Bad: All the notifications coming from the phone have the same "message" icon so it can be very difficult to distinguish between, say, a text message, a Reddit notification, and a Teams message (I had to turn Reddit notifications off because they were so confusing! haha). The Ugly: If the notification has any length to it, you can only see the first little bit of it so you still have to grab your phone to figure out what is going on. Even worse, there is no way to reply to a text message from the watch. This realization was very disappointing to me and almost caused me to return the watch. So why have I decided to keep it at this point in time in spite of the crushing realization of all the shortcomings of the app and watch? Well, it is good enough in everything it actually does for the price I paid for it. Yes, there are annoying quirks and some of the data points it does track are painfully inaccurate, but I also don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a branded wearable at this point in time.If anything changes, good OR bad, I will update my review.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Impressive Features- Issue with Wristband Solved Quickly by Company Support Agent
I was unhappy with my former tracker from a leading company because it didn't include Blood Pressure monitoring. When that tracker's battery quit I decided to try FITVII. It has all the features I wanted and more, is easier to read, and holds a charge for a very long time. I've been very happy with its functioning, however, I chose the metal wristband which I think looks much more professional, and the attachment to the tracker broke in such a way that I couldn't wear it anymore. I contacted the company support and they immediately offered to replace the tracker. I think that perhaps the plastic wristband is a better choice, particularly if you are very active. I would definitely buy this tracker again because I like the features.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product and customer service
Easy to use. My son loves it. He can answer my calls and see my texts easily. The watch takes pulse and blood pressure which is important to me. My watch stopped working after a month. Contacted customer service and they sent out a new one within 2 days. Very happy about that. I plan on buying another one. And you can purchase a screen protector for it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great price and promotion
I’m new to health devices and I simply ordered this for keep track of my heart rate and blood pressure. So far it feels nice on the wrist. Only owned it for a whole day , so I will give an update after some more time spent using it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Does not track exercise well
The exercise functionality (which is one of the main reasons I bought this watch) does not work well and is way off with biking. E.g. states you biked 18 miles when it was only 12, and states you only burned 14 calories by biking those "18" miles in an hour. It also takes at least 10 minutes to autodetect exercise such as walking. Health measurements don't seem to be accurate either and are delayed. I will return this watch, as the only option tech support gave me is to factory reset the watch. The rest of the watch functionalities are ok.
4.0 out of 5 stars Smartwatch checks all the boxes
Everything works well, connecting to my phone was easy. It would be 5 stars but haven't yet run with it.
