It is crafted with a breathable 3/16” latex-free neoprene, a round patella opening for stable knee positioning, and interior sharkskin strips that help prevent the brace from moving or sliding down. 4.0 out of 5 stars Inadequate instructions glued to brace, pretty snug using their size chart, but some good features
The instructions were glued to one of the plastic ovals on the side of the brace; it did not peel off cleanly and getting it entirely off was annoying but I am not lowering my review score because of it. Here are my observations and experience trying this indexed knee brace using the included “pull-tab buttresses”:SIZING: Using the Bolo listing size chart I ordered the large size. It fit me snugly making it a little tricky getting it on and tougher getting it off. If I had a bad knee or was recovering, I would want a larger size (if it work).FITTING: The top and bottom has short wide Velcro belts that I connected first, then I attached long, narrower Velcro belts (that go through a plastic buckle) to custom size it. The brace as a modestly padded hole for the knee and a non-padded hole behind the knee. On the top and bottom inside of the brace on both sides, there are a total of 4 non-slip pads to help prevent the brace from sliding down; they were very effective for me.PULL-TAB BUTTRESSES: There were no instructions for how to use these included or on the Bolo listing. Luckily, I have seen these before. This brace includes 4 pair of matching metal tabs (my photo shows 3 pair; the others were preinstalled and marked “E10 F90”) each with different degrees they allow the brace and knee to bend (both backward and forward). These are very small and are held in place with even smaller screws so a concern for me is losing parts. On my knee brace, the front tab was already screwed in place on both sides, so it was pretty easy to look at how they are in place and to mimic it for the back tabs. This brace is designed with insert areas on both sides of the knee (using matching tabs).BREATHABILITY: An advertised feature that I did not really experience.WEARABILITY: For me the wearability and performance in doing the intended job was very good; that really matters the most.I have tried and reviewed another index brace that has built-in dials on both sides of the knee to set degrees without having to use tabs and screws, which I prefer. However, while there are a number of items I pointed out that as detractors, this brace does a good job overall and to me is 4.4 stars; very good but not quite 5 stars.

The Dynamic Patellar Stabilizing Knee Brace with Pull-Tab Buttresses is fantastic! It has been a legit game-changer for me, especially with my daily use of stairs and managing my moderate arthritis. This knee brace provides excellent support for ACL/PCL instabilities, mild to moderate knee strains, and arthritis. As someone with moderate arthritis, the extra padding around the patella provides extra comfort that has sorely been lacking in the different types of braces I have tried. It's breathable and stays in place all day, even with moderate to heavy activity. The aluminum polycentric hinges, combined with upper and lower circumferential straps and universal dynamic pull-tab buttresses, offer superior knee stabilization. The stop kit of 0-30 degrees allows for adjustable support, accommodating my specific needs.All of these aspects were thoughtfully designed and work together, making this the best brace I have tried to date, and at almost 50, I truly appreciate that. Highly recommend!

I measured as a size large according to the size chart, but a larger size would have been better and far more comfortable. My last photo shows how much the brace dug into my skin while I was wearing it, and it was difficult to get it on and even harder getting it back off again. I would not want to wrestle with this if I had an actual knee injury. In looking closer at the size chart after receiving this brace, I see there is some overlap between sizes. When near an upper edge of a size, I recommend going to the next size up.The instructions show how to put the brace on, but show absolutely nothing about how to use the metal brace locks, and there is also nothing on the product page. Not having used a brace like this before, at first I thought the metal brace lock must fit into the side without a screw (see photos). I thought the visible metal at the front screw was just part of the hinge, and didn't realize it was one of the brace locks that was already in place. After wasting a lot of time testing each of the tabs on the "screwless" side with no discernible difference in brace function, I then took the whole hinge oval off and saw the E10-F90 brace lock. Replacing it with one of the other brace locks, I finally saw how it was meant to work. Another paragraph on the instruction sheet explaining how to use the brace locks would have been extremely helpful and avoided a lot of frustration on my part. All that being said, the brace is very strong, the gel pad around the knee is excellent, and I think in the correct size this brace would work very well at protecting my knee. For that reason, I'm rating it 4 stars, knocking off one star for not having better printed instructions about the brace locks.

I have had issues with my knee's for quite a while. I have tried endless knee braces, wraps, sleeves, you name it. Some have been good, some not so good, but this particular knee brace is far and away the very best I have ever seen! It has a super high-quality build and features not usually seen in regular knee braces you can buy online. It is super supportive without feeling overly restrictive! I love this brace and highly recommend it!

This is without question one of the strongest knee braces I've ever used. That being said, I found the device tight based on their size chart. It was a little difficult to get on and off. I would say that unless you have serious knee problems you might be better off with a simpler brace.
