The material of these clear shoe bags is sturdy and durable, providing excellent protection for my shoes. Despite being clear, the plastic is thick enough to withstand regular use without tearing or breaking. They have held up well through several trips and packing and unpacking sessions. In the past I've just used plastic grocery bags for my shoes. These are definitely nicer and stronger. They can also be used for dirty laundry or smaller items you want to keep separated from the rest of your stuff. Useful and lightweight.
