5.0 out of 5 stars Works great !
With this paint sprayer, I can paint the room by myself. Self lots of money to hire someone. It also save much time. The sprayer works great.
4.0 out of 5 stars Trial and Error
I have never used a paint sprayer before so this seemed like a good time to try it out. It did require some trial and error from us. We needed the right thickness to prevent drips and the range it did give helped us kind of figure out where we needed to be. It was easy enough to clean and worked for us.
5.0 out of 5 stars Not recommended for spray tanning!
I recently used this spray gun for a DIY project, and I’m impressed! The nozzle delivers a smooth, even spray without any splatter or streaking, making my work look professional. It's lightweight, easy to use, and comes with clear instructions. The only minor downside is the cord could be longer, but that's easily fixable with an extension cord. Cleaning is a breeze too – just rinse under water. At $40, this spray gun is an amazing value compared to pricier models.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for a spray tan!
I got this to use for spray tanning not knowing whether it would work. But it worked fantastic!I simply put the thinnest nozzle on and loaded it up with the tanning solution and it made my spray tan in half the time that my old school airbrush tanner did. The tan looked the same and did not have any streaking and there was no issues with paint splatter. The stream was smooth and even and beautiful with my water-based liquid. I do wish the cord was slightly longer.Given the fact that a airbrush tanning machine could be $200, this I find to be a fantastic deal. Although I haven't used it for paint yet, I do think at this price point it's an amazing value if you have a small project.
4.0 out of 5 stars Powerful, time saving, and easy-to-use
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this electric paint sprayer a while back and was afraid to use it, and I was looking for an opportunity to use it, so it sat in the box. I am currently working on restoring an 1826 home to get it ready to sell and this was the perfect opportunity to try it. I tried a battery operated power sprayer and I can unequivocally say, this electric sprayer is more powerful and saves even more time than the other. I like that it’s corded because it doesn’t run out of power, unlike battery operated sprayer. I attach an extension cord and was able to use it around a large room without changing outlets. See pic 3.This sprayer is plug-and play and comes with everything needed to get up and running in minutes (except paint). See last pic. I chose the largest room to start using it. Not only did I spray the water based primer (diluted with 1/4 cup of water), I sprayed semi-gloss (diluted with 1/3 cup of water) on the crown and baseboard moldings, the fireplace, built-in bookcase, windows, and doors. I used the 2nd smallest nozzle for trim and the largest nozzle opening for the primer. The attached video shows spraying the primer on a dated, yellow sponge-painted wall. One coat was all I needed whereas when rolling the primer in other rooms (before I was brave enough to try this sprayer, I always needed 2-3 coats for similar colored walls.I haven't quite figured out the settings on this (which is on me) so I've been going through paint that's about equal to what I would by brushing or rolling the paint, though I am determined to figure it out. I covered the floor with plastic sheeting and as I got more comfortable with the aim and power, I now tape the crown molding with 3" tape (when not painting the ceiling) and I haven't over-sprayed once. The coat is extremely even and I only need 1 coat because of the coverage vs the 2 coats that I need for my battery paint sprayer.I am finding that all paint sprayers take time to clean, so bring your patience. Everything needed to clean is included (except warm water, which is all I needed) and I only use the spiral bristle brush for the sprayer compartment (after detaching it from the motor) and keep the pin nearby to periodically clean out the nozzle head while painting. The only downside that I'm finding is that the motor gets hot and that'slikely because once I start spraying, I use it for long periods of time.I absolutely LOVE this sprayer and it makes painting fun, quick and easy. I highly recommend it!
5.0 out of 5 stars Comparsion
I bought another sprayer for 150 at Menards, and I got this just to compare. The spray is better, the cord needs a extension, but it sprays smooth. You have to read the instructions and use good paint, but the nozzles turn for horizontal and vertical spray so it is good for walls and trim. The 150$ one clogs, especially since it is hot out but to compare a 40$ one and a 150$ one to be about the same, this is definitely a good buy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great paint sprayer for quick jobs.
WORKS GREAT and comes with various tips that do different types of jobs. Now i don't have to hunt for a battery that works cause this being a wired one is a great alternative. Fairly easy to clean... you just run it under water and they rinse nicely.
4.0 out of 5 stars Really good but really LOUD paint sprayer.
The media could not be loaded. There is a lot to like about this paint sprayer. Once you get the correct dilution of the paint, it’s pretty much ready to go. I used a satin-enamel, and the dilution was about 1 tablespoon of paint thinner per 1 cup, or 1 cup of thinner per 1 gallon. The instructions could’ve been better, as it took quite a while of me fumbling around the sprayer in tandem with the instructions to know what I was looking at, and even then I wasn’t 100% sure. Eventually I just had to try it out, and it’s really not as complicated as the instructions led me to believe. There is a dial that controls the flow of the paint, and there is a nozzle dial that controls whether the spread is vertical or horizontal, and both are very easy to change during the painting project. It has a nice, long cord, though you’ll probably still want an extension cord. It’s not too heavy, and the trigger is easy to squeeze. Cleaning is also pretty easy, as a simple mixture of rubbing alcohol and water will do the trick (that’s what I used in the video I attached). The worst thing about this will be the really loud noise. I don’t know if other similar sprayers are so loud, so I can’t compare. It’s not much of a problem for me, but it does mean I won’t be using it at night, which I might not have done, anyway. Check out my video to get an idea. It’s like a jet engine in your face! Still, for the money, I’d get this again, as it is very effective and easy to use.
