These pens were everything I wanted and more. They have a metal jacket as well as gel ink. They're so funny & easy to write with and the gel ink dries super quick--leaving very little opportunity to smudge.Highly recommend!

This 5-pack of LINFANC Gel Pens was a bit disappointing. I really like the sleek design of the pen body, and was hoping to use these as part of some goodie bags for friends. However, I had a rough time getting any of them to start writing - and the little plastic protective tip was surprisingly hard to remove. It felt like they had dried onto the tips of the pens or something. I did not think that these pens were at all like gel pens, as the ink did not flow out easily and the quality was not very good.

I made the effort to come back here and edit this review. Felt like I owed it as a Vine reviewer.These pens just don't hold up well. There are two big problems:- at least one, possibly 2 of the 5 pens in the set will leak ink all of my hands periodically - usually it's after it has been sitting for a bit, and I pick it up to use it. This is pretty normal operating conditions - it sits on my desk, in a normal temperature and then the first few letters produce ink all over the paper and my hands.- they don't last super long. I have slowly started using the pens - they come with a plastic ball covering the tip to keep them from drying out. Pens that I have started using just recently have started writing very scratchily - so either they are out of ink, or just not operating well.Because of the latter problem, I also notice that my notes with these pens are really illegible.

I am absolutely obsessed with these pens! I wasn't expecting much when I ordered these gel pens. I was initially attracted to the look of them - timeless, classic, clean, modern and sophisticated. They actually look even nicer in person than in the photos. What really impressed me though is how smooth they write and how comfortable it is to write with this pen. I appreciate the feel and weight of them in my hand. I also love that the ink is indeed as described - quick-drying and smudge-free. I also appreciate that each pen has a pocket clip that makes it very easy to attach to notebooks, binders, etc. They work really well - easy to click open and closed. I really wasn't expecting to get such a fine looking pen that works so well for such a good price. I definitely have a thing for pens and this one is my new all time favorite. I highly recommend these gel pens!!!

1. Outside appearance is very classy and modern. I like the style.2. The feel of the writing is not as smooth as I would like, especially for gel ink.3. Price is attractive overall, notwithstanding that I don't care for the amount of friction while writing.4. The appearance of the ink on paper is average. Does not have flair that I see in other gel pens that I prefer.
