5.0 out of 5 stars Great dryer
I have several other dryers this one is stronger and dries hair in half the time as others. Nice hand grip also is comfortable
5.0 out of 5 stars Dries Fast
Nice selection of temperatures. Most get too hot. I really like dryer. I bought for use in barbershop. However, the cord is too short for professional use. I still like anyway. Low noise.
4.0 out of 5 stars Decent quality blow dryer
A bit larger than expected, but also lightweight for its size. The low speed is a gentle "whooshing" sound that isn't irritable-sounding, and even the high setting, while obviously louder, is not offensive. So overall, pretty quiet for a hair dryer. There are three heat settings - it does heat up very quickly from any of them, which is good, obviously. The button for "cool" air does take a moment or two to get cool, especially from the high setting. There is a blue "ring" light that turns on when using it - doesn't seem to provide much in the way of light, so it seems more cosmetic than useful. There are two nozzles to help direct air - they are both wide/flat nozzles. One is a bit longer than the other, so it doesn't seem to serve much purpose to have both that are so similar...? A diffuser instead of two alike ones would have been better. But it is what it is. Also, press them on securely - one fell off during use the first time.It does have a built-in GFCI circuit. as any hair dryer really should anyway.Overall, it seems to be a decent quality hair dryer. Not high end, but not low end either.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice!
My wife likes this everything about the hair dryer:from the color, weight, quietness and especially how quickly it dries her hair. We got a winner .
3.0 out of 5 stars Small air vent and buttons poorly placed
This is just "ok". I like that it is quieter than other dryers I've had and the three heat settings work well. Other than that - the vent where the air comes out to blow air on your hair is small. It took longer to dry my hair. The handle feels soft (strangely enough but it's nice) but doesn't give you a good grip. I was constantly pushing the buttons with the way that you hold the handle, changing the heat and the force of air that comes out. This was super annoying. I tried to hold it a different way, but couldn't get a good grip to do that.I'll use this as a backup dryer for when my usual one breaks (as they all eventually do). So overall...it's "ok" but I wouldn't reorder it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight, does the job
I'm probably not your typical customer for a hair dryer. I got this to dry off my poodle after a bath.To that end: I'm a huge fan of how light this hair dryer is. Drying off a slightly uncooperative poodle is not my definition of a good time, so I'm thrilled at how lightweight this is. The dryer is quiet enough that my dog, who is deathly afraid of vacuum cleaners, lets me use this on her without killing me. Yay!It doesn't seem to quite blow hard enough to really get through all her fur, but never fear. It's light enough that I can brush with one hand and operate the dryer with the other. It manages to deliver probably about as much power as our circuit breaker allows, which is good enough for me!Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and have no doubt it would work just fine on humans too!
5.0 out of 5 stars Durable, built-in ground fault switch, heating coil cooling mode
My wife and daughter use hair dryers almost every day. I only use it on occasion during winter months if I need to step away in the cold after the shower. Hair dryers doesn't live long in our house. I had to replace them every 6-9 months. Most common modes of failure are burned heating coils or worn motor brushes. This dryer is built to last. It's a bit heavier that dryers I used to buy. Coil is made from stainless steel tape not from a thin wire as in dryers I had before. Also it houses bigger diameter motor which runs at lower rpms producing the same air flow. Lower rpms translates into longer life expectancy for motor bearings and brushes. It is also got a long, heavy duty cord with ground fault breaker embedded into power plug. Two diffusers of different shapes are included. Cool shot button allows to run motor only. It is recommended to run it in cool mode for 30 seconds before shut off. This will remove residual heat from the coil and significantly extend its life expectancy.
4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight & quiet hair dryer
The HaooAir hairdryer is a great quality hair styling tool that gets the job done quickly! I dried my shoulder-length hair, which was towel-dried, in just under seven minutes.I used a paddle brush to style it as straight as possible and then a hair straightener to finish the style. I have never been able to master a blowout with just a hairdryer but if you are more skilled than I am, you can get a salon-quality blowout with this dryer. It comes with two concentrator nozzles that help direct the hot air. I tried them both, and they did fall off during use, so be sure they are pressed on well. My hair looked sleek and smooth after I finished. The dryer is really quiet for being powerful. 2200W gives it a lot of oomph, and it is a lot less noisy than my previous hairdryer. It is also super lightweight, just under a pound. If you are looking for a simple hairdryer that dries your hair quickly and is a great value, you will love this one!
