    Bought these to engrave designs on. I'm sure that's what most people buy them for. The acrylic was well protected in the packaging. Came with all the accessories needed to get going. Only thing I wish it did come with a charging block. Other than that you can plug it into any USB outlet. My daughter absolutely loves playing with the remote. She does use it as a night light and it is very bright even at the lowest setting so that is a plus for her. I do have a diode laser which is not the best for clear acrylic but with a little bit of masking with chalk paint. They turned out terrific. The spots on the image were user error while lasering. I sold 3 other ones that came out absolutely perfect after messing with my laser settings.

    Been using several of these to etch family photos. Works really well, Wish the supplied power cable was a little longer and the light a touch brighter, but still looks very good. My learning curve caused some of the acrylic to get messed up. Now I am stuck with several bases. Is it possible to just order fitting acrylics?I could order larger pieces and just cut them to size, but getting ready-to-use pieces makes life easier.

    Love the remote and the bases, but after getting I found out that I needed the 2mm shapes of acrylic to engrave on my Cricut Maker, but that’s a lesson learned. I can still apply a vinyl design and use as is. Just wasn’t what I thought it was at first. Not the vendor or products fault. So based on that it was a good purchase.

    The included acrylic will NOT work in your Cricut. It is thicker than 2mm (and not specified in the description). The light bases are fine but I am returning the two boxes I purchased because of the acrylic.
