I purchased these to replace an old Exacto knife and understand why it’s advertised as a hobby or craft knife.. The handle is a bit thin and doesn’t feel strong like my old knife that I used to open boxes, though so far it’s holding up. Probably best for crafting as advertised.

Nice colors, authentic Exacto handle, with many extra blades, which you'll need, as the blades do get dull after awhile. Good value, endorse it and recommend without reservations.

I didn't try these because upon arrival I learned that the extra blades are simply placed in the box with the knives. I found it rather unsafe and didn't want myself or anyone else cutting themselves. I was also concerned one may get dropped without noticing and my one year old would get a hold of it and put it in his mouth...Otherwise, they are the same exact quality as the knife I replaced them with (that had a case to store the blades).
