Easy to install if using a level. Great adhesion. Looks great. Easy to cut. Careful not to cut or smash in the wrong place because it is a lot more malleable than wood. Dings easily. I highly recommend if you want the chair rail look but you don’t have the time or supplies for wood.
5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy Heavy Duty PVC Adhesive Moulding
I’ve worked with molding over the years, but it was always would, and in fact fairly light pine usually. Obviously this product is completely different. Is made out of dense PVC material and it can be rolled up in even curved unlike its wooden counterpart. What is most striking about this is how heavy it is. For my project I’m making panels that can be hung on a wall with removable adhesive strips. I’m concerned about those panels now, because this heavy moulding will quadruple the panel’s weight. If weight isn’t a concern, then I fully recommend this trim. It is easy to work with and the adhesion is fantastic. It also looks quite clean and sharp.

Used this product on my wall and it almost ruined my wallpaper job. It wouldn’t stick to the wall and was ripping up the wallerpaper. Ended up having to cut it off the wall and it messed up paint and wallpaper so we have to get a real trim piece that is now quite larger to cover.

This is a nice looking trim for your project. It has a glossy finish that looks like paint. I installed this in my bathroom around some shower tiles. It looks very nice. Although the adhesive seems strong, the trim is quite heavy so I decided to add a few finishing nails just to make sure it stays in place. They are almost invisible and were easy to hammer through the trim. The quality of the trim seems good and looks durable.

Update: it’s been months and this stuff is amazing! Hasn’t budged at all even though I barely have 1/2 of the sticky part attached to a door I’m opening & closing all day long. Wow, recommend.The size and shape is accurate. But only time will tell with the adhesive. It is very heavy so I’m not sure how long it’ll hold. I’m also putting it in the bathroom, so I’m not sure how the condensation will affect it.Update! I ended up applying it at the bottom of a door. It looks phenomenal. For the exact placement I needed, I had to place it hanging off my door a little with only 3/4 of the sticker on. With 3/4 of the sticker on, placed at the bottom of a door that we open and close daily, pushed on occasionally by a crawling baby, it’s miraculously holding up fantastic. It’s been 4 months now and not a wiggle. Note that this is my review using about 3 foot strips on wood, not long strips and not on a painted wall.

Price during review- $ 19.99Two of these go a long way to add the picture frame molding along a whole 10 foot wall - something I've always wanted in my formal sitting room. They are very glossy so would look better painted since they come off a bit plasticky otherwise. They are easily paintable, although I primed them first to be on the safe side. Also, I feel like spray would have worked better since the roll keeps curling back on itself but it wasnt too hard when it was weighted down. Since I tried two rolls, I did both prime first and then paint on one roll and vice versa for the second. Painting after mounting worked more easily especially since I was going to paint the wall anyway. Be ready to go in with a smaller brush to do the details though. Adhesion is good, so place and mark where it should go since you want to stick once. Good for the price. Recommended.

This would pass for a real wood trim painted in high gloss paint for sure. You just need to hide the seam with high gloss white caulk. Adhesive is pretty good.

I wanted to add some molding to a small powder room off my kitchen. The molding will give the plain room some depth and interest. It seems like it will resist the moisture and high humidity of a powder room. The quality seems good. While the adhesive seems good as well, I will probably finish of the installation with some finishing nails and caulk.
