The camera was nice, videos and pictures were good, but the camera and accessories were expensive and there was a lot to control.I’m using this during scuba diving and needed something easier to use underwater.I had a GoPro for many years and ended up returning this camera and purchased a new GoPro with scuba accessories for half the price.

To be honest I would love to write a positive review of the camera and bundle however in this case the bad simply outweighs the good in my view.Good:The Camera quality is fantastic.It’s easy to connect to the mobile app.The case does amazingly does not have the fogging problems that you commonly get with action cam cases.The Camera easily lasted me during a 2 hour dive and even still had a good charge on it when I got back.Bad:The entire dive bundle was developed by people who weren’t thinking about the needs of their customer- The case is easily scratched, particularly with dive gear.- A seam is definitely visible down the center of the stitched image meaning you really do want to get the video of your subject in the center of one of the 2 cameras.- A GoPro connector is really the last thing you want for this. Keeping to the standard threaded connector and providing a real selfie stick would be a lot smarter idea.- The case is positively buoyant even when using the normal selfie stick instead of the useless underwater one that is included.- As a diver you need a good way to clip off the camera, this wasn’t thought about and it has virtually a thread for a connection.The result of this was that after only a few dives the entire thing broke free, resulting in it floating away and being lost. It’s really a great camera but poorly thought out for those who are serious about using it in a marine environment which is the entire point of the underwater bundle.This really needs to be rethought with some research into how divers actually set up their gear with strong nylon and a stainless steel bolt snaps to clip off. Being positively buoyant might be good for applications like kayaking, however if you’re using it underwater this is the last thing you want because you cannot be chasing the camera to the surface. Every effort should be made to make it neutrally buoyant or even negative so that if you drop it, you can at least retrieve it from the bottom.

Hey guys I don’t typically write reviews but wanted to warn you that the underwater housing is really cheaply made. Where other companies reinforce theirs Insta360 does not. It’s going to scratch if you even lightly bump it against anything. It’s crazy given it’s an action camera. Put something over it if you take it underwater and only remove for videos. Had this same problem with x3 hosing and they never solved. Customer service did not resolve either even though mine was news. Hope this helps.My advice: go with something else or buy the Bolo knock off housing so you can cheaply replace when it scratches. The x4 housing is $100. Crazy stuff.Update: the Bolo review team responsible for this product actually reached out to me a few days ago to offer me a new case. It’s helped repair my sentiment toward the brand. The website support was not helpful but support on here is better. I hope they do improve this case as it’s a great cost-effective camera. Make sure you use the cover they provide, even underwater though it’s not made for that!!!

What can I say that has not already been said about the INSTA360 X4 ...its the top of the range 360 video cam... ideal for my motorcycle with a host of excellent well thought out features ready for the creation of amazing videos... its taken my social media into the stratosphere!! Super rugged and easy to operate on the go while riding a motorcycle ;)

Una renovación de las que valen la pena...Hoy en día que estamos acostumbrados a que las marcas saquen un modelo uno tras otro con casi ninguna novedad, esta vez insta360 nos sorprende con esta X4 que mejora muchísimo en relación a la X3, sobretodo subiendo un peldaño más en todas las resoluciones, ahora pudiendo ralentizar a 1/2 el 5.7k que creo será mi resolución favorita.Mejora la pantalla, el estabilizador de imagen y la autonomía, vamos, casi todos los aspectos más importantes de la cámara.Pero lo que más me gusto son los protectores de lentes y su manera de anclaje, estas cámaras 360 tienen las lentes muy expuestas por lo que en ocaciones es muy importante poder protegerlas.Lo bueno de este sistema de protectores es el poder colocarlos y quitarlos a nuestro antojo y en mi opinión solo colocarlos cuando sea realmente necesario.Me parece que es la mejor cámara 360 de consumo del mercado con una calidad de imagen muy buena pero sin duda todo esto no serviría de nada si no tenemos un buen programa de edición y justamente el insta360 studio es por lejos el mejor que he probado, esto no lo digo solo yo , lo dice todo el mundo, editar con este programa es super fácil he intuitivo.
