I'd been looking around for one of these for awhile and after reading reviews I picked this one.My iPhone XR fits in the middle perfectly (also fits the larger iphones and androids). Can set up camera angle vertical or horizontal and it sits in the middle of the ring so you don't get any shadow spots.The ring itself was put together already which was nice. Easily assembled to the tripod stand. Very bright, different settings, it's perfect. I even use it just for additional lighting when it's nighttime.BEST PART OF IT: the tripod stand is tall. All 3 legs extend out and have clips to keep it in place. I've noticed many other tripod ring lights have the tripod legs at the bottom with a single pole that extends up but they are very sensitive with phones on them because they become top heavy... This tripod stand was perfect because the legs extended, therefore it's not a hassle because the base is much more stable and it doesn't fall over with a phone on it.Only problem I had: the clicker works perfect and very easy to connect. If you have the clicker on and you set it down for awhile it becomes disconnected from my phone. Not a big issue at all.. All I have to do is flip the clicker off and back on and it works again. If you are continuously using it though, there are no issues with it!Packaging it was sent in was nice, they were boxed up inside of the whole shipping box. Nothing was damaged upon arrival. Shipped very quickly, arrived in 2 days. Tripod stand also came with a carrying case. Wall plugin for light is awesome because I'm not having to change out batteries at all for it to have power!Thanks for a great product! Would 100% recommend to others.

Everyone else has commented about the light so I am skipping anything about that. I really wanted something that could help me make painting videos and would be sturdy enough to hold my phone or camera for a few hours.THIS is lightweight and easy to put together, but is SUPER sturdy and has enough adjustments it isn't going to come loose or get shaky anytime soon. Perfectly fit my needs!

I’ve only played around with this yet, not used it for my intentions, which is family photos.So far I’m pretty impressed with it for the price. I’m by no means a professional but for my purpose I think this is a good item. Yes, it IS plastic, but since I’m just using it for my own purposes it does not bother me. The lighting is pretty neat to have just to use with my iPhone inside.The cons IMO: The cord could have been made a little longer but I’ll make it work. Some of the the legs are a little stiff to get up and down(maybe they’ll break in?) Also, the directions to hook it all up SUCK. Basically look at the photo and guess.Overall for price and My own personal use, I’m happy thus far. I would recommend for others looking for something just to have at home and take on vacations.

The lighting effect is excellent, with multiple brightness and color temperature options to meet different shooting needs. The stand is stable and easy to use. Beautiful packaging and fast delivery. Very practical for live streaming or filming tutorials.

I don’t know why this item has so many 5-star reviews. It is ok but has a lot of mediocre features. First off it is a bit flimsy in all regards. It is hard to believe that this is a major remodel for a product that has lots of followers and lots of positive reviews.1. The biggest shortcoming is that the light ring does not articulate independently of the phone mount. The really strange thing is that they added a short articulating adapter (m-f ¼-20 on a ball), that is solely for spacing the light ring up off of the tripod so that you can actually plug the power cord in. If they had moved the power socket to the side and used the short pivot for the phone inside the ring, then the phone ad light would have independent angle adjustments. As it is, it is simply a waste of parts, making it more complicated to operate just to cover up a design mistake.2. The light ring should have a built-in battery. I know this would add a few dollars to the cost, but it makes the assembly cord free, which is a big deal for this product.3. The remote should be able to zoom the phone like most other selfie controllers4. The clamp for the phone is a cumbersome screw clamp vs the normal easy spring-loaded designs5. The light ring needs to be unscrewed from the base every time it is put away (slow). My other cheap tripod is way better than this and has a quick release for the “camera” mount.6. The kit does not have a protective bag for the fragile light ring. The ring and phone assembly should be removable from the tripod stand and each should have a simple protective bag, but it does not come this way.

Excellent lightweight tripod with useful ring light
I work in real estate and with everything that's going on we are moving towards online virtual tours and open houses rather than in-person ones. I bought this tripod and ring light for the purpose of our live broadcasts and it has proven extremely useful. The tripod is compact and lightweight; don't use it outside in the wind, but indoors it is great and very stable! The phone clamp can accommodate a large variety of devices, and the ring light produces A LOT of extra light. I prefer the softer light over the bluish tone, but it does both! The tripod even has a little level to show you if it you've positioned it right. Overall very happy with the purchase.

You get a lot for your money
As many of you my professional life has moved online. I work as a teacher and film/tv actor. For online meetings, this thing is great as it lights up you face well and doesn't cast harsh shadows behind you. For taped auditions it's very bright and lights up a medium-wide shot no problem. No fancy light kit required. It comes with a tripod, a cellphone holder, a universal mount thing; there's a lot in the box and it's easy to set the thing up anywhere and anyhow you want. The quality is so-so. The light itself is good and bright with three colour settings, natural, warm, and cool. It doesn't flicker and is consistent throughout. The tripod and attachments are all cheap feeling plastic but at this price point you shouldn't expect more. It's good enough just for a light but I wouldn't bang it around or anything.A side benefit I noticed is that my family has relegated me to the basement for my home office, there's no windows or natural light there. After one morning meeting I left the light on and noticed I worked better throughout the day, it was like having a window there. Not a very scientific experiment but I've been leaving it running all day and out of the corner of you eye it does feel like a window and is helping me stay focused on work.

I am really enjoying this light stand. I use it for Zoom meetings and it has really helped the lighting and I no longer have to hold my phone or find ways to prop my phone up. It is pretty tall and sturdy. I think it's pretty reasonable for the value you're getting, even though it's plastic.
