.Impressed by the quality of this ramp. Very strong and folds up like a big brief case. THAT is a GREAT VALUE for me.I'm sure this ramp is perfect for the need of confidently crossing via a wheelchair. However, that is not my need. I have been using it, VERY SUCCESSFULLY, for load ins and load outs. Mainly hand trucks. It's a total success for times when we don't know what terrain we're going to face.

I am very happy with the quality of this portable wheelchair ramp! Sometimes we will go pick up my grandmother who is wheelchair-bound from her nursing home and go out and do things, and a couple times we have had to go to a different place because they had a few stairs rather than a wheelchair ramp so I thought it would be really cool to have our own portable ramp in the car with us that way we can still go to the place we wanted to bring her to. This wheelchair ramp is really super sturdy and it's the perfect with as well as length. It is definitely durable and sturdy. It does have some weight to it at just under 30 lb, but it's no problem for my husband to get it all set up and maneuver it wherever we need it to be. It could not be any easier to use you simply set it up where you need it to be and add the pins in to help Anchor It Down and you are good to use it! It definitely works 100% as it should we actually got to test it out this weekend at a small local Mom and Pop's restaurant. Our grandmother was super thrilled when we brought out this wheelchair ramp and she was able to go inside when previously we had to choose a different restaurant. We are so thankful to have this ramp now and seeing the smile on her face was just priceless! This can definitely stand up to what you need it to and it's a very durable ramp! We really could not be happier with this definitely got to give it a 10/10! It's an amazing value for your money especially if you have a wheelchair-bound loved one! If you are thinking about it don't hesitate it will definitely get the job done!

I think it would've worked well but it came bent and so I have to return and buy a new one before the 5th in just a few days.The time crunch is now my biggest issues because I needed it before guest came to my home.

Some of my family members are dependent on wheelchair use, but enjoy getting out often. One thing that I decided would help would be some sort of portable ramp. This will allow my husband and I to assist our family members in and out of our van. I did some research and I kept coming back to this particular portable ramp. I decided to give it a try and see if this would be a good fit for our particular needs. Below, I will outline some of the features that made this one stand out over other similar ones on the market.*Design: Simplistic design- User friendly- Simple operation- Non-Skid-600 lbs capacity- Lightweight and portable*Functionality: works as it should, easy to use. This does fold so it's simple to move around.*Height of ramp: this particular one is four feet*Reflective Strip on the ramp*Safety Latch*Stainless steel hinge - this will last a long time - premium grade material*Versatile uses: other than wheelchairs, this ramp can also do things like aid with strollers, shopping carts, pets and much more*Variety: offered in three different heights - 4/6/7 feet*Dimensions for your reference: 48"L x 29"W x 2"H*Materials: premium grade aluminum*treated with anti-oxidation*anti-slip mat*Side handle*Weight of ramp: 27 lbsAll in all, this has been a huge help with taking family members on outings. The ramp was made with premium grade material. Although it can hold a large capacity at 600 lbs, the ramp only weighs 27 lbs. That alone is pretty impressive. Very sturdy metal, easy to fold and unfold, and has a carrying handle to make it easy to carry for short distances or move inside or outside of a trunk. Excellent for temporary uses, or for locations where YOU need the ramp but there isn't one or one still needs to be constructed. The grip on this ramp allows you to move relatively heavy objects without fear of them slipping back, but keep in mind the rating on the ramp. While I get the design and purpose, I think the sides might be a bit too sharp, and it woudl have been nice if they had been turned into an open channel to maintain strenght and hide the sharp sides. Either way, this makes for a great temporary solution and helps with mobility. If you're using this to get a scooter in the back of a vehicle, do yourself a favor and walk on it first to make sure it is properly seated before you push the scooter in. Five stars for being so lightweight and easy to carry.

This is a really nicely made high quality ramp. At 26 pounds it’s not particularly light weight, but is easily carried with its side handle. Setting it up is very simple, just put it down pull the storage pins out and unfold; then lift into position. Once in place it feels sturdy and is stable. Folding it back up when done is also quite easy. It will make getting heavier items in and out of my shed so much easier. At its price the 4 foot model is a great bargain and would be hard to buy the parts and make your own for any less.
