I really like this device! It works well with compression socks that I have bought in the uniform shop. The compression is not as strong as prescription ones and I have yet to try the stronger ones with this. But I have found this device very helpful. I got the whole kit with the gloves and the mat. I have not used the gloves in the mat yet. I was able to use it without them so far.

There was supposed to be a left & right black raised handle for 2 hands. One handle was absolutely not in the box, missing. So the product will not work as a compression sock device. Since 30mm to 40mm is a bit too tight, I will likely double the 15mm socks to get the 30mm compression.I ordered also from Bolo, womens Trueform 30 to 40 mm compression socks. Have worn these several days getting a runner in each sock. But compression is strong enough to order Trueform 30mm gain.So my plan is to wear 2 knee high socks of 15mm to achieve 30mm and no more. My Blue Cross OTC has sent the weaker socks & a few men's socks to try.So, I want to return the compression socks KIT to Bolo without one handle. Thru Whole Foods.Also discovered Walgreen's copper socks which did fit properly, have a toxic chemical starting with B in them, harmful to "young ladies" reproductive systems & development, or circulation systems, a CA warning on cardboard that comes with socks. IF Bolo sells these.(I am 76, a warning from CA on wrapper) so put those away. Rather shocking to young women, though as it affects circulation. I recovered from a oeg laceration after six months under nurse care.

My first encounter with compression hose was disappointing. It was a huge struggle to put them on and I was tempted to ignore doctors' orders and stop wearing them but a therapist suggested looking into a device to help put them on. I'm glad I did.Once you get the technique down, socks are a breeze to put on. This is worth every penny and saves me a ton of aggravation. I would not hesitate to recommend this aid.Regarding the size, my calf is at the top of the recommended range and I have no trouble at all using it.Do yourself a huge favor and buy it. You won't regret it.

Great idea as long as you have regular size feet ( < mens 11.5 ) not swollen 3-4cm larger then the other foot and can fit between the ridged plastic sock holder. I have to wear compression stockings first thing in the morning or can't fit into any footwear. Other wise it looks like it will be beneficial to the average person. cheers.

Sooooo easy now to put my sock on with this device, otherwise I had to have help which wasn’t always available. Super device!!!

Not great for the very elderly
Purchased for my 92 yr old father who has trouble lifting his leg. Handles not quite long enough. Also the gloves don't grip well so when you try to slide the sock with them the glove slips.My father can't use it at all.I now use it but just to get it over my foot and then I use a rubber glove to slide it the rest of the way. I personally would not recommend it. Feel it is way overpriced.
