Gallium Nitride chargers are a big improvement on silicon chargers - they're smaller, they produce less waste heat, and more energy efficient. UGreen is a Chinese manufacturer with a great reputation for making solid, reliable GaN chargers. Although I got this one for review, I've also bought several UGreen chargers for around the house or travel, and really rely on the brand.This is a relatively compact charger, but it has a lot of power and ports. It can put out a total of 100W, either all 100W though a single USB-C port, or various combinations if you use some or all of its four USB-C and one USB-A ports. The bottom line is that this has the ports and power to run most laptops and also charge some devices. (Note that if you want 100W, you'll need to make sure you have a USB-C cable that is rated for that amount, or the charger will automatically lower the power to the amount your cable can take.)If you don't need five ports or 100W, you can get a charger that is more economical and smaller, and I use smaller chargers when I can for those reasons, but if you need this much power and versatility, this is a great choice!

This USB-C charger has very impressive specifications: 100 W and 5 ports. I tested it by charging three devices on ports C1, C2 and C3, consuming a total of 84.3 W. It simultaneously fast-charged the three devices by delivering 28.7 W, 28.5 W, and 19.3 W, respectively. It didn’t get very hot, indicating good heat dissipation. At that load, the power supply efficiency was 91%, which is pretty good.My only reservation about this charger is its weight. At 8.95 oz, it’s heavier than two 3-port chargers. I think I will carry two smaller chargers during travel instead of this one. Unless we need to bring a lot of devices on a trip, it will stay on the receptacle, replacing all charger blocks in my charging station.Overall, this charger is impressive in terms of performance and efficiency, but its weight might be a drawback for frequent travelers.

I've been using this as a desk charger for all my USB devices that don't need to be plugged into my desktop PC to charge. Ipad, Surface pro 9, Samsung S24U, Wireless keyboard etc. I just ran an extension cable up to the back of my desk and I have this box conveniently sitting underneath my monitor. Works great! I Also have the the extension cord ( not included ) mounted so when I need to take a charging brick with me, I just unplug this and the cord stays put. Great setup.The Brick itself works as expected. It's built nice and charges everything super fast. Grab one, you'll love it.

For a 100W adapter, this is very compact. Given it has 3 USB-C and 1 USB-A port, this is now my go-to travel charger.I have tested it many times with different combinations. I have used it to fast-charge an iPhone 15 Pro Max, an iPad Pro and a MacBook M3 Pro. This doesn't heat up as much as other adapters do when multiple ports are drawing maximum power. I also like how the user guide shows different combinations of power distribution options so you know exactly how much each port is capable of when multiple ports are in use.This is a great multi-port USB-C charger that I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a compact yet powerful adapter.

I didn't know about Ugreen until maybe a year ago and they've impressed me with their products at a very reasonable price. I've spend my own money on a bunch and when I had the chance to review this charger I jumped on it! It's not the smallest charger but it's a well built one with enough power to charge a bunch of your stuff all at once. The size is similar to a macbook charger so if you're the type who always lugs around their computer I recommend switching the charger out for this one so you have 4 additional ports to charge misc. tech like your phone, earbuds, ipad, etc. The one thing I do recommend maybe as a companion to this charger is a short extension plug for some sockets that are loose so the charger doesn't fall out. All in all a great and powerful charger!

Ugreen is another one of those companies where I know I can expect quality at a fairly decent price. Here are some quick thoughts:- It's a powerful GaN charger. I appreciate the breakdown of power draw based on how many items you plug into it.- It is 100W so it can get a little warm. Nothing too crazy from my personal usage.- It does not have a grounding plug- The multiple USB-C slots makes it perfect for use in spaces with limited plugs. Perfect in a hotel room with limited plugs.Overall, this is a game changer. It's significantly smaller than my other chargers and it will power all of my devices at the same time.

This is a great, high-powered but compact charging brick for multiple USB-C (and a USB-A) devices. You'll want to make note of the various power distribution options in the included instructions that show which ports and what combinations result in different power levels to the different ports. Overall this will be a very convenient desk or travel charger for anyone with multiple devices.

This charging brick is heavy duty and capable. It will stay secured in a new AC receptacle but it may not stay plugged in when using an older or worn receptacle. It works best IMO in a power strip where it is oriented face down. It is heavy for its size.It can get slightly warm during peak power use so a well ventilated area is best. When just charging a smaller device like a phone, it doesn't get very warm at all.The 4 USB C ports share the 100W capability. The included instructions are easy to understand and their are charts to clearly explain how the power is shared when using 1, 2, 3 or 4 devices.I think it is a quality charger and well made. I would recommend it to others. 5 stars.

UGREENの安心感と安定感。本体の質感もとても良くガジェット好きにはたまりません。持ち歩くには100Wとしてはちょっと大きめかなと思います。USB-A１個とUSB-C４個のポートを備えているので最近の身の回りの物への給電はデスク回りにコレ一つあれば十分です。しっかり100W出るのでノートPCにもこれだけで対応してます。いままではコンセントをたこ足で対応していることが多かったのがこういうガジェットがあると身の回りがとてもスマートに片付くので嬉しいです。
対応ケーブルを使えば100W出ます。重いので普段の持ち歩きには使えません。
100W出力のACアダプタです。スマホからノートパソコンまで充電、給電に使えます。しかし、大きくて重い。5ポート搭載で高出力なので仕方ありません。早速、充電給電をしてみます。30W出力で高速充電ができました。ノートパソコンは80W給電ができました。安定した給電です。高出力に対応したケーブル(PD対応)を使わないと高速充電できないので注意です。充電中本体が発熱しますが熱いほどではありません。発熱が少ないACアダプタのようです。なので☆５つです。

【UGREENのカッコよくて高出力なUSB電源】メタリックなボディが、持っていて嬉しくなるほどカッコいいですよ。そして、薄型の割にずっしりしていて高出力、もちろんPD対応です。UGREENは、いちおう、中国メーカーの中では、評判が良いほうだと聞きますね。発熱も少なめで、良い感じです。【100W型モデルについて～サイズ感】100Wという大出力で、5つのUSBポートを備えていることを考えると、じつに薄型だと思います。マルチタップなどで使うと、横並びのタップでは隣をいっさい邪魔しません。縦に長くなってしまうので、そのぶんコンセントから抜けやすくはあります。【GaNな電源】最近、窒化ガリウム(GaN)を用いたマルチUSB電源をいくつか試す機会があり、本機もその一つです。レビューの内容が似てしまう点はご容赦ください。製品間の違いについて気づいた点は極力書くようにしています。これらの製品は、基本的には、高出力のわりに小型なのが共通の特徴でありメリットでしょう。いっぽうで、ノイズに弱いのでそれを考慮した設計が必要とも言われています。実際に使ってみると、期待したような出力とならない場合がありますが、これは、たいていは、複数のUSB出力を備えるために起こっている仕様上の問題ということで説明できるのです(つまり異常ではありません)。が、しかし、まれに、「ご機嫌斜め」というか、ノイズに弱いせいかなぁと感じる場合もあるように思いました。【単独で速くか、みんなでのんびりか】最高の出力で最短の充電時間を目指すなら、使うのはケーブル一本だけ、本機の場合はUSB-Cの1または2または3のどれかひとつのみを使います(以下C1C2C3等と書きます)。このとき、100Wで充電するためには、相手の機器が電圧20Vの入力に対応している必要があります。電流は最大で5Aなので、電圧が低いと100Wまでは出ません。複数の端子を使用する場合、出力を分け合うことになりますので、各端子の最大出力は低下します。まして、5つ全部使うとすると、それほど速くなりません。この時も、電圧電流の兼ね合いで、100Wを5等分するより小さい出力になることがあります。中学生レベルの理科の知識を思い出せば、おそらくは、電流を分け合い、電圧は並列の関係にある端子同士が同じにそろってしまうことが想像できるでしょう。それらの要因で、単純に100Wを5つに分けるということにはなりません。【使う端子の数や組み合わせによって速さ(出力)が異なる】前段の事柄に、もう少し踏み込みます(面倒くさいと思う方はこの段は飛ばしてください)。5つのUSB端子の使い方によって、最大出力が変わります。たとえば、単独では、C4は45Wまで、Aは22.5Wまで出力可能ですが、C4とAを同時に使うと、両方の合計で15Wまでに制限されます。同じように、C1のみなら最大100Wまで出力できますが、他の端子を使用すると、それに応じてC1への割り当てが減ります。詳しい組み合わせのパターンは、説明書に書かれています。ただし、説明書のは、それぞれのパターンで最も高出力となる場合の目安で、充電する機器や、使うケーブル、同時に充電する機器同士の組み合わせによっては、その通りの出力になるとは限りません。本機では、C1とC2とC3がひとつのグルーブ、もうひとつがC4とAと思われます。充電したい機器が2つある場合、説明書ではC1に対してC2やC3を組み合わせても、C4を組み合わせても、期待できる最高出力のパターンは同じですが、実際には、最も効率よく充電するには、C1に対してC4を組み合わせるのが良いようです。3つ以上繋げる場合ですとパターンは全く変わります。電流は分け合い(均等割りではありません)、電圧は同じグループ内で同じに揃うと推測しますが、分解したわけではないので確証はありません。その推測は置いておくとしても、(1)100Wは5つの端子で分け合う(2)各端子の出力の配分は、分け合う数、機器、ケーブル、端子同士の組み合わせパターンによって変化するということを頭に入れておきましょう。【ご機嫌斜めになったときは】本機ではあまり起こりませんでしたが、相手機器側の上限や、端子同士の分け合いを考慮したとしても、本機の出力がみょうに低いと感じたら、コンセントを抜き差しすることで改善することがあります。ケーブルの抜き差しが効くこともあります。【使用するケーブルにも注意】本機にケーブルは付属しません。適切なケーブルを用意する必要があります。C1～4はPD対応。AはPDではありませんがQCなど他の高速充電に対応するようです。これらが充分な出力を得るためには、ケーブルが、まず充分な電力に対応している必要があります。本機に対しては、USB-C～Cケーブルは100W、C～Aケーブルは22.5W以上の出力に対応したものが望まれます。そのうえで、PD対応であったり、データ対応であったりする必要があります。非対応のケーブルを使うと、速度低下や、そもそも充電が始まらなかったり、最悪発熱などのトラブルが起こることさえ考えられます。【電力表示ケーブルのススメ】PDなど速い規格で充電できているか、各端子がいま何ワット出力しているかを確認するために、電力(ワット)表示に対応したUSBケーブルを薦めます。ケーブル上で、いま何Wでているか、PDなのかそれ以外なのかをLED表示で確認できるケーブルを5～6本用意して愛用しています。【高速充電非対応な機器は充電できないことがある】C端子はもちろんA端子であっても、この種の製品は高速な充電規格に対応する都合上、完全な下位互換ではないようです。古い規格のままのUSB機器のなかには充電できないものがあります(充電できるものもあるので試してみないとわかりません)。したがって、本機を導入しても、古い機器や古い規格しか使っていない機器用に、以前のUSB電源は捨てないでくださいね。【値段は】高めですね。まあ、電源は、わりと価格と品質が素直に比例しやすいジャンルではあるので、品質次第ですが…。耐久性まではわからないので、星は5に近い４とします。
