5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic
This is fantastic for our family homeschool projects ! Something we can all do & experience together . It's pretty basic quality but we don't mind at all . Great variety !
4.0 out of 5 stars An inexpensive science kit to extend your child's STEM knowledge
With more than forty science experiments to conduct, your child would be hard-pressed to find one that they would not find to be extremely enjoyable. We keep science kits like this around for inclement weather, and now that we’re moving into the fall, we will pick up doing more of these science projects. This was an excellent gift for my little one, and she enjoys it immensely.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Rainy Day Project
This is a fun activity to do with kids on a day that they are stuck indoors. It isn’t too messy but I do recommend helping younger kids do nothing stains or spills. It was a fun time and it helps them learn more about chemical reactions. It is a pretty good price for what you get.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great science toy!
While these are less "experiments" and more fun demos, this is a great set for kids to explore and have fun. I'm a science teacher, and I wouldn't use this to actually teach scientific methods and principles, though everything in here is lots of fun, and the kids can see something happening or changing right before their eyes, which can spark the curiosity to learn more and pay attention in science class later on.
4.0 out of 5 stars Cute set
Inexpensive way to show kids some cool science stuff! I got this set to use with my kindergartener in our homeschool. It's fun to pull it out once a week to demonstrate different science facts and he likes feeling like a little scientist. It definitely requires adult supervision and participation, and it's not a high quality set (you do get way you pay for). But for our purposes it is fun and works!
5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of experiments/supplies
We got this kit to use with our grandchildren as we try to do STEM projects whenever they visit.Even though the age listed is 8+, we found that our 6 year old granddaughter is very inquisitive and tries to predict the outcomes of the experiments and is quite often correct or very close. Our 3 year old grandson however just likes to mix stuff together and watch colors change/mix.Both get super excited and we ended up doing several of the included projects in one sitting.
4.0 out of 5 stars Fun Value Science Kit
This science kit has a nice collection of experiments and materials. It comes with a small manual that explains each of the experiments, how to perform them, and some brief discussion of the concepts. There are some small details that are not included in this kit. * There is no safety equipment such as googles / aprons / gloves. If you want to teach safety you will need to provide that yourself. * beakers / flasks for pouring and mixing liquids would be nice to have * The manual does not offer much extra guidance on the educational process, you will likely need to explain some concepts in your own words.Overall this is a very fun kit and there are lots of interesting experiments to perform.
5.0 out of 5 stars lots to do and learn!
I have been looking for unique things to do with the kids, to keep them off their tablet. This was perfect! It kept us entertained for a couple hours. There were lots of different experiments to keep the kids learning and entertained. 5 stars.
