5.0 out of 5 stars The coolest system for an airbagged vehicle!
I put helper bags on for towing, but had to keep going out to manually inflate them either at a gas station air hose or with a portable tire inflator. This new system is the way to go, automatically inflating for me to the desired PSI. No more stopping for refills every two months. Awesome! 5 stars!
4.0 out of 5 stars A Pretty good compressor albeit not the best looking
This isn't the chrome compressor you see on the air ride kits in the movies but it will get the job done. It effectively lowers and raises my rat when necessary without the rigamarole.Honestly i was surprised how effective it was because I haven't heard great things about their bags but I am pleased.Until We Meet Again-Off The Grid Ken
5.0 out of 5 stars A great kit with expected limitations
First off, if you’re thinking this compressor kit can run a slammed vehicle setup, look somewhere else. It’s not designed for that, what it is designed for is something like what I am using it for, helper bags in the rear of my pickup. This system eliminates the need to go to an air source to fill up the bags via air chuck. This makes it easy and at your fingertips with a gauge included to boot. Noise is as expected from a small air compressor. If you know what you’re doing and take your time there are no leakage issues. I’m mechanically inclined so the not so great instructions weren’t an issue for me but I can see others points about them. My system mounted on the side of my frame rail so the “beauty” factor is a non issue, you can’t see it. Overall the unit performs admirably at an affordable price point, I hope the longevity is there as well, though I’m rarely towing to use it to level squat out of the truck’s rear end.
1.0 out of 5 stars Bad Instructions
Installing was easy routine. The wires and airline was easy hoken up the wires. To the sensor.A real pain in the ass.. Very little if any markings on the sensor no instructions on where does the power supply line go to the sensor?. Instructions for wiring for the sensor all the way to the gages, Is nonixist a simple to install? Which is true pain in the ass to connect wires correctly..
5.0 out of 5 stars A necessart part of the puzzle when attempting the install of airbags suspension kit
I recently invested in the maXpeedingrods On Board Air Compressor System with Low-Pressure Sensor Universal Air Spring Compressor Kit for my truck, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The installation process was straightforward, thanks to the detailed instructions provided in the kit. The low-pressure sensor has proven to be an invaluable feature, ensuring that the air compressor system operates at optimal levels at all times. In my testing across various road conditions, the system has consistently delivered reliable and efficient performance, inflating the air springs with ease. The build quality of the components inspires confidence in its long-term durability, and I believe it will withstand the rigors of regular use without any issues.Overall, I am highly satisfied with the maXpeedingrods On Board Air Compressor System and would wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow truck or van owners seeking a dependable and high-performing air compressor system for their vehicles.
2.0 out of 5 stars Horrible instructions
Wiring instruction video is so unclear that I wired it the way they say to and the only thing I have power to is the light on the gauge.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works for light to medium loads
I've been using this air compressor for towing and hauling with my truck and it's been reliable so far. I wouldn't use for heavy duty loads, but light to medium loads it's been working fine. I really like how I can adjust air spring pressure on the go, which has been really convenient especially when towing heavy loads. Installation was straightforward with some parts pre-assembled, and the detailed manual helped a lot. A good choice for anyone needing reliable air spring control.
5.0 out of 5 stars maXpeedingrods On Board Air Compressor System with Low Pressure Sensor review
Although this has not been installed yet, here are the aspects we liked about this system. When unboxing, the numerous parts seemed to be of good quality. The system includes a low-pressure sensor to help maintain the right pressure in the air springs, which is a nice touch for improving ride comfort and stability, especially when carrying heavy loads. The installation process is pretty straightforward, although having some mechanical knowledge will help. The kit comes with clear instructions and all the necessary hardware. After checking it out, it should take around 3-4 hours to mount the compressor, do the wiring, and connect the air lines. If you're not comfortable with DIY projects, you might want to consider getting professional help.We expect the system to perform well. The low-pressure sensor will alert when the pressure in the air springs drops below the preset level, which is crucial for preventing damage and ensuring a smooth ride.In terms of ride quality, I am hoping to notice a significant improvement. We want our truck to feel more stable and handle better on rough roads, especially when loaded up. The on-board compressor system also will save time and effort since we'll no longer need to manually inflate the air springs. The automatic low-pressure sensor adds an extra layer of convenience and peace of mind.Looking forward to an improved ride.
