While it does trim fur ok on the body the part I needed most was for the fur in between the pads. It takes too much effort for the toe fur and I have to go back over the same are several times from different directions.

Not quiet! Cutting blade very dull! Fine if using scissors but I wanted something to make trimming easier. On pads of feet not cutting hair unless being pulled. Not cutting hair basically anywhere!!

I'm a professional vet groomer and I bought these for getting into the smaller places that my Andis clippers were just to big for. Especially on tiny/small dogs and cats. I use them for shaving paw pads, getting in front of the eyes, and sanitary area. These are pretty quiet so it's good for dogs that are scared of loud noise. I've used these on dogs that normally fight and throw a fit for shaving in front of the eyes and these because of them being so quiet and light weight really help with the more difficult dogs. I wouldn't use these on the entire body tho, they really are not made for that, especially if the dog or cat has a thick coat it's not gonna go threw it. I've only had these a couple days so we will see how long the battery life lasts and how long the blade stays sharp, but so far so good. And let me repeat myself these are good for small areas of the body NOT an all over haircut you will need something more powerful and professional for that.

Well ....
I have a Yorkshire/West highlander mix.Nail trimmer is good, so is the pad trimmer. Face trimmer also good.The actual trimmer though is a huge let down. Will cut but not if you add the clips for different lenghts. Scissors are great too. Need to find another clipper.
