This very affordable RTISTRO Washable Watercolor Paint Set is wonderful for all ages, but particularly for young children who often make messes and spills when watercolor painting. This pain offers so many pretty color options, two paintbrushes, a handy case, and the ability to easily clean up any mess. I recommend it to you!

I am super impressed with the quality of this watercolor paint set - especially considering the price! It comes with a whopping 48 colors, two great quality standard paint brushes, AND a refillable water brush. First, the water brush is amazing, and so easy for my toddlers to use. They sometimes struggle with watercolors because they forget to continually dip their brush in the water in order to liquify the paints, but the water brush eliminates the need for dipping! You just unscrew the bottom portion, fill it with water, and screw it back on. When using, lightly squeeze the sides of the brush and it will dispense just enough water to liquify the paint. My 4.5yo grasped the concept almost instantly, and it made it noticeably easier for him to paint. The color palette is nicely arranged, and the paints themselves are rich in color and have a great pigment to them. The cover closes securely, though it can be a bit of a hassle to get open (my kids needed my help, and even I struggled a bit). For less than $10, it's a complete STEAL. This is absolutely my go-to watercolor palette from now on, and will make the perfect gift! Five stars, without question.

I ordered this paint set because I want to develop my new skill (drawing) into painting water colors- this set does not disappoint. It has all the colors, I prefer (I am a quilter and am familiar with colors)- this is a perfect starting kit for beginners. It has brushes -but not too many - I find choice a stress now - but all the colors.....

This water color paint set with 48 colors and three brushes is very nice. It comes in a nice case with the lid doubling as a paint palette and storage for two out of the three brushes. It personally bothers me that the set does not accommodate storage for all three brushes. The two thinner paint brushes fit fine, but the water brush is completely outside of the shrink wrapped package and will not fit in the case. It was likely an add on or bonus item, which I appreciate, but I also like to keep all of my things tidy and together. This seems like a perfect way for the water brush to get lost from the set. Additionally, while the case itself is fine and has no damage, one of the colors inside is broken and in a bunch of tiny pieces. These are now floating around the inside of the case. It is annoying but shouldn’t affect the paint or the use of that color once I collect it all and get it back in it’s designated area.

Paints are paints to a certain extent. (Especially in this price range) what honestly sets these apart is how EASY they are to use. The kit is self containing and can easily be packed in a bag or backpack the color selection does not disappoint AND the color saturation is superb for water color. Remember, watercolor by design, is not intended to be SUPER saturated. But again, for a watercolor kit, these hit the mark for the average painter/hobbiest.

I needed some entertainment for a long road trip with the kiddos, and this watercolor set came in handy! I handed them both coloring books and this set and they were entertained for quite a while. At some point both of my kids got the paint on their clothing and thank goodness, as the listing promotes, it came right off after throwing it in the washer machine!
