I took the entire bottle of Biotin following the recommended dosage of two per day, but I didn't notice much of a difference in the end. Maybe Biotin isn't what I need. My nails are weak and prone to breaking and peeling, and unfortunately, they are still in the same condition as before I started taking it. I'm unsure if it takes longer to see results or if I should have seen an improvement within 60 days. I didn't see any positive effects on my nails. I do wash my hands frequently, and I'm not the most careful person, so that might have affected the results. Additionally, I didn't notice any changes in my hair. It's a bit dry and frizzy, but it's not a major issue, and perhaps only I notice it. Regardless, I didn't see any improvement in this area either. Overall, I don't think I will use Biotin again. Regarding this particular brand, the pills were easy to swallow, and you get a good amount of Biotin in each two-capsule serving. The bottle was well-sealed and seemed fresh. However, I had hoped for better results.

I am taking it for my nails, since I use them for playing stringed instruments. My nails are a little thin and weak these days. I have been taking this and similar biotin supplements for about 6 months.These ones are easy to take, and deliver a very large dose, in line with most others. Zero stomach issues, even in the morning. It's very gentle.As far as efficacy, I would love to see more improvement for my specific problem. My nails are still not as thick and strong as I would like, but I feel confident this is at least ensuring there's no deficiency at play for me.

I've taken lots of different nutricost supplements over the years because I love the quality and that they are very affordable compared to other brands. This biotin supplement does not disappoint!This supplement is vegan, so you don't have to worry about a gelatin shell. They're on the smaller side in my opinion and as a result, very easy to swallow. There is no taste and I did not experience any weird burps as a result of starting this supplement.What I am most impressed by is the mg of biotin per pill! They offer such a great value at an unbeatable price.As for the effect on my nails, they are definitely growing faster than they were before I implemented this supplement. Biotin is a supplement that starts working relatively quickly for me and I already see the grow out on my nails.Highly recommend and will repurchase once I run out.

Comparable with other brands I've taken. I take this for the purpose of helping my hair, nails and skin, but I can't claim any proven difference as I also take other supplements for that.

This review is for the "Nutricost Biotin (Vitamin B7) 10,000mcg (10mg), 120 Capsules" . These pills were made in the USA (with globally sourced ingredients) and have a seal on top of the bottle as well as around the cap. The bottle I received has an expiry date of 11/2026 so they're good for about 28 months from when I received them. These are a great option for someone who doesn't like the gummy versions due to the added sugar or lowered amount of biotin. At 10mg, these have a bit more punch than most other supplements I have seen, though the pill size reflects that as these are more normal pill sized as opposed to some of the tiny ones from other manufacturers.

I'm a fan of Nutricost as one of my supplement vendors, and these Biotin capsules, at 10,000 mcg, are an excellent value. I'm currently taking a lower-cost, generic 1,000 mcg capsule from a B&M store, and in order to get the same quantity dosage as the Nutricost, I'd have to spend more money - without getting the 3rd party certified benefit that Nutricost offers - and certainly spend more time swallowing ten times the number of capsules for the same result.Another thing I appreciate from Nutricost is that these capsules have minimal ingredients, and they did NOT add another supplement that might interfere with other vitamins and minerals I am taking. So many manufacturers today combine all sorts of ingredients which can lead to over-ingestion of surplus ingredients.Highly recommended.

The capsule are on the small side which makes them easy to take and swallow. The fact that this supplement is in capsule form means there is no need to measure anything like you do with liquid supplements. Capsules are also easier to take with you if you are traveling or will be away from home. The supplements did not have any odor and there was not any after taste. Another plus for me is that The Nutricost Biotin capsules are made in a NSF Certified, GMP compliant, FDA Registered Facility and they are third party tested. Compared to a lot of supplements This one seems like a good value for your money.
