This is definitely stainless and can go into the dishwasher, no problem.But, it’s not heavy.Fits 6 quart pots, perfectly.

As indicated by 2 reviewers, it's easy to clean and well designed and perfect size to stack up onto my 8" diameter stainless pan (which I bought it from Bolo). Especially, I'm very pleased with its slick look design, functionality and value. When stack up, it fits my 8" stainless pan perfectly, which is even better in terms of saving space. NOTE: Its stainless steel seems a bit lighter than expected, but Bolo description indicated "not easy rust, good sealing brim."

This stainless steel steamer is good for veggies, dumplings, or whatever else you want to steam. It's easy to clean and sits perfectly on my 6-quart pot. If you have more than one, you can stack them. It doesn't come with a lid, but my pot lids work,

My wife makes a lot of meat buns for us to eat and this steamer is the right size for our meat buns. The steamer is stainless steel and well constructed. The steamer is very durable. Also a great size for steaming vegetables. The inside diameter is 8 inches and from handle to handle it is just under 10 1/2 inches. The basket is just under 3 inches tall. The bottom measures 7 3/4 so your pan needs to be slightly bigger for it to sit on top.
