5.0 out of 5 stars Very good makeup
Everything arrived in the kit as was promised. I tested the makeup, and personally I really like it! The kit includes everything you need :) recommend !!
4.0 out of 5 stars GREAT VARIETY!
This is not packed very well. The first one I received, all the color pallets were shattered and all over the inside of the kit; the second one was not packed any better but at least it did not come broken. If you are looking for a cheap starter kit for your teen or if you are having a rough go; this is perfect! This gives you all the variety to try different styles!

3.0 out of 5 stars Some items great, some HORRIBLE!
✳️OVERALL THOUGHTS✳️Overall, this kit is okay. The makeup bag, sponges, primer, foundation, concealer, powder, face palette, brow powder, lip glosses, and 1 of the eyeshadow palettes (they cool toned one with 15 shades) are all great. Of course, the foundation and concealer need to be the right shade. For me, 1 of the concealer shades worked for me but the foundation shade was too dark for me. But, if the shades will work for you, they actually apply and wear well. The rest of the products were misses. The other eyeshadow palettes (the Huda New Nude dupe and the 2 12-pan palettes) were horrible! Some of the worst I’ve ever tried honestly! But, luckily, 1 of the eyeshadow palettes (the cool toned 15 shade palette) was great, so it made up for the others being so bad!Honestly, a set like this is probably best for kids to just start playing around with makeup. They aren’t going to perform the best, but they’ll introduce them to the different makeup products and a way to practice. But, really, you are probably better off just buying things separately that will fit you personally (shades and color stories that work for you) if you’re wanting to really use and wear the products. I give the set 3 stars. Some of the items were good, some were horrible.✳️MAKEUP BAG✳️This comes with everything in the makeup bag. Everything is made in China. The makeup bag is nice. The material will wipe off easily to keep it clean. It has a zipper going around the side and a nice handle on the top. There’s a brand name on the front in gold - “mlmlgo” - I could have done without that, but it’s not a huge deal.✳️SPONGES & BRUSH SET✳️2 makeup sponges. Each one is sealed in plastic wrapper, which is nice. These are actually really nice! Most of the sponges that come in sets like these end up being kind of stiff and not my favorite. But these are really soft but still firm enough. I really liked them!Brush set comes in a little plastic zipper resealable kind of bag. There’s 12 brushes. There’s no labels on the brush handles at all. They are short, kind of like travel sized. The brushes have a better look than most brush sets that come in sets like these, but still aren’t the best. They’re very lightweight. Flimsy feeling. The handles have scuffs on them, some of the ferrules don’t look attached well or just uneven. The hairs are cut unevenly and seem kind of sparse. The hairs are also a kind of cream color, but the tips of them are kind of dirty looking. I’ve had brushes where the tips of the hairs were different color than the rest, but this seems different. I can’t really place why. But I didn’t like that. They will be good for playing around, like for a kid just starting with makeup, but if you really want to do a nice full makeup look, I wouldn’t recommend these.✳️FACE PRIMER✳️This comes in its own outer product box. Brand name is “SIGHTLING.” Ingredients are listed on the box in English. Claims to be all matte, pore invisible face primer, smooth moisturizing, bright hydration, fills in fine lines and pores instantly, lightweight, oil free. It’s a small plastic bottle with a pump. You don’t get much product at all. It says 6 ml/0.20 fl oz. It’s an odd pump because the part where you push down is low then there’s this part that goes up way higher and that’s where the hole is for the primer to come out of. It’s kind of weird to me. A lot of wasted space? Not sure the point of having a pump like that. The primer is a clear, jelly kind of texture. It glides onto the skin easily. You only need to use a little! If you use too much it doesn’t seem to dry down and the foundation doesn’t go over it well. But, if you use just a little the foundation goes over it great and it looks nice. It’s not amazing, but it’s not horrible either. Just okay.✳️FOUNDATION✳️This comes in an individual product box. Brand name is “SIGHTLING.” Ingredients are on the box in English. You get 1 shade - 102 Nude. It claims to be naturally flawless, full coverage, long wear, oil-controlling, and lightweight feel. The bottle is a hard plastic with a pump top. With a set like this, it’s always annoying when they put complexion products in that require needing the right shade but don’t have an option to select specific shades that’ll work for you. So, the shade isn’t going to work for everyone. I’m really pale, so this shade did not work for me. But, I tested it out when I was just at home to see how it applied. And this is the same foundation I got in another set, but it’s a different shade, and the shade I got in that other set worked better for me so I can judge it based on that as well. The foundation has a creamy feel to it. It isn’t too thick. It has good coverage. You get medium from the start, but can build it up. I have normal to dry skin, more on the dry side with some extremely dry areas. So, I usually prefer more hydrating foundations than matte foundations. But, this said it was a “soft matte finish,” and those I can usually work with. I agree it is a soft matte. It doesn’t look overly matte at all. It does feel light on the skin, but if you build it up then obviously it’s not going to feel as light. It didn’t cling to my dry areas. I wouldn’t agree with the 24 hour coverage. But, I have yet to find one that would be 24 hour coverage...not that I’m testing that out with any foundations. But, it wears well for the day and maintains coverage. It does start to look dry in my extremely dry areas by the end of the day, but that’s often the case with anything that has any kind of matte finish on me.✳️CONCEALERS✳️These come in their own outer product boxes. Brand name says “Lameila” (which is kind of weird because the other products seem to have the same brand name, but written differently - “La Mei La.” Not sure why that is). They’re made in China. Ingredients are in English. They are squeeze tubes. Each one is 15 g/0.52 fl oz. You get 2 different tubes, which is nice. The tubes don’t have shade names or stickers on them, but the outer product box did. One said “02” and one said “04.” I’d gotten another makeup set like this before and it came with the same kind of concealer, but in shades “03,” which was a little too dark but I could make work and “05,” which was way too dark. So I was glad to see this set came with shade “02,” which hopefully would work better for me. And it did!The formula is nice. It’s creamy. Not too thick. Blends out easily. Feels hydrating but sets down on its own (on my dry skin). It doesn’t look heavy or dry under my eyes. It lasts well. I was pleasantly surprised.✳️DUAL ENDED HIGHLIGHTER/CONTOUR STICK✳️It comes in its own outer product box. Brand name on it says “La mei la” and it also says “Colour Geometry.” Ingredients are NOT in English. It’s shade 01. One end is highlighter the other end is “contour.” The highlighter side is a matte cream shade. The “contour” side is a very warm toned - literally orange. Definitely not for me,The formula is nice. Creamy. Glides on the skin easily. It can blend out to nothing if you’re not careful. But the color is so off I couldn’t really test it out too much.✳️LOOSE POWDER✳️This comes in an individual outer product box. Brand name says “Colour Geometry.” Ingredients are NOT in English. It says “02” on bottom of the box. I’m guessing that’s shade 02, but to me it seems really light. That’s good for me since I’m so fair. It’s in a plastic jar. The top twists off to reveal a puff inside. Under the puff is a plastic sifter with holes in it.The powder is soft, smooth, very finely milled. It applies nice and softly onto the skin. Feels light and thin on the skin. Not heavy, powdery, or dry. It works well on my dry skin, which not many powders do. So I like this one.✳️FACE PALETTE✳️This comes in an outer product box. Brand name on it says “La mei la.” The other product info, like ingredients, are NOT in English. This is in a plain white plastic compact with the brand name on the front. It’s a nice size. With other makeup sets like this, a lot of times the compacts like this are pretty darn small. This is a standard size where I can fit a smaller brush into each of the 3 pans. This is one of my favorite from the products. I love the contour and highlight. The blush is a soft peach shade. It’s not my favorite color. I have a very cool undertone so warmer blushes just don’t look good on me. But it is soft, applies smooth, blends evenly. The contour is a perfect shade for my fair, cool toned skin. Like the blush it’s soft, smooth, and blends easily. The highlighter is nice and smooth. It isn’t glittery. It gives a nice soft glow without emphasizing texture.✳️MASCARA✳️It comes in its own outer product box. Brand name on it says “La mei la.” Ingredients are NOT in English.I’m not a fan of this. The wand isn’t too big or too small, but it is slightly bigger than I’d usually want. But the formula is kind of dry and flaky. It looks clumpy on my lashes and flakes off easily.✳️THIN BLACK EYELINER✳️This doesn’t come in an outer product box. It just is sealed in plastic wrapper. Brand name on it says “La mei la.” NO ingredients listed on the pen. This bleeds. I used it to label the swatches on my arm and you can hopefully tell how much it bleeds. It did the same when used on the eyes. It also smudged and didn’t last at all.✳️DUAL ENDED BLACK EYELINER✳️This comes in its own outer product box. Brand name on it says “SVMY.” The ingredients are in English. One end has a thicker felt tip pen and the other end is a wing stamp. Unfortunately, the straight pen side was messed up. Like it was broken or bent or something. But, I was still able to test it out. This has decent pigment. It isn’t completely opaque on the first pass, but it’s decent. For me, it’s way thicker than I’d usually use. I would need to be extremely careful to get a thin line, and even then I doubt I’d be able to get one as thin as I’d want. Since the tip was broken, I couldn’t test that out to see. The stamp works well. But I have really hooded eyes and, while it might seem like a stamp would be helpful with that, I just never find them to work that well for me. Unfortunately, while both sides have good pigment, they smudge easily and don’t last at all.✳️BROW PENCIL✳️It comes in its own outer product box. Brand name on it says “La mei la.” Ingredients are NOT in English. This is dual ended - one side is an eyebrow spoolie and the other side is the pencil. It’s an automatic pencil. It twists up. The brow pencil is angled. This says it’s shade “03#.” To me, this is like warm medium brown shade. The shade isn’t for me. I have dark brown hair and my brows are a dark, kind of muted charcoal. This is too warm for me. The formula itself is okay. I like it to be a nice middle ground - creamy enough to glide on easily where I don’t have to press too hard, but waxy enough where it stays put. This is a little bit waxier than I’d like - I have to press a little harder than usual to get it to show up, but when I do that it does show up and lasts well. It’s just uncomfortable to have to press as hard as I need to, and since the shade doesn’t work for me anyways it’s not worth it to me.✳️BROW PEN✳️It comes in its own outer product box. Brand name on it says “SVMY” and “Colour Geometry Four-Pronged Eyebrow Pencil.” Ingredients are in English. It’s a brow pen that has the prongs to make different hair strokes. It says shade is “02 Dark Coffee Color.” It’s way too warm for me. And it was leaking on the sides as soon as I opened it (see photos). So I didn’t want to really keep it around to find out what a mess it would make!✳️BROW POWDER PALETTE✳️It comes in its own outer product box. Brand name on it says “La mei la.” Ingredients are NOT in English. There’s 3 shades - a warm light brown, a neutral brown, and a charcoal color. The powders work well. They apply in the brows easily and last well.✳️EYESHADOW PALETTES✳️There’s 4 different eyeshadow palettes.🔸15 Color Eyeshadow Palette🔸This comes in an outer product box. Brand name is “MUGE LEEN.” Ingredients are NOT in English. It’s called “Black Metal Punk.”It’s plastic palette with clasp closure. There’s no mirror. There’s 15 shades. This palette was great!! This is the other favorite of mine from the set. The mattes aren’t super pigmented, but they’re pigmented enough and they do build up well. I don’t mind when mattes aren’t super pigmented right off the bat, so I can blend as I build them up. But if you’re someone that likes a lot of pigment right from the start, then you probably won’t like this. But if you don’t mind buildable, these mattes are nice. The shimmers are beautiful. They’re soft, smooth, and have nice shine to them. The eyeshadow lasted well even on my hooded eyes (with an eyeshadow primer). I was happy this palette was actually good because it was what I was most excited for out of the set. I have very cool undertones, so grey toned shades work great for me!🔸18 Color Eyeshadow Palette🔸This comes in an outer product box. Brand name on the box is “QIAOYAN.” Ingredients and other product info are NOT in English. It’s called “New Nude.” The back of the palette has product info of some kind but it is NOT in English. It’s obviously meant to be a “dupe” for the Huda New Nude palette. And I say “dupe” because the outer packaging, including her eyes and all, looks exactly the same EXCEPT for the brand name of course. Even the inside has a plastic protective sheet that is just like the one with Huda’s palette, with the same image as the front of the palette. So this is more like a copy than a dupe. I wouldn’t call it a fake since it has a different brand name on it and obviously different product info since it’s NOT in English. The palette has a nice weight to it. It has magnetic closure. There’s a small mirror on the lid. The actual inside of the palette is where it starts really looking different from Huda. It just doesn’t have as nice, clean look to it like a Huda palette would when first opened. There’s marks from shadows on it, even like some dripped down the side (see photos), the pans aren’t up evenly so it just doesn’t have the same kind of look to it.This wasn’t that good. The mattes were very sheer and did NOT build up at all. They just blended away and if they stayed put, nothing would stick to build the color up. The shimmers were slightly better, but not great. Some were okay. But they were all pretty sheer and dry and I really had to dig in to get any to pick up and they just didn’t show well on the eyes.🔸2 12-Color Eyeshadow Palettes🔸These do not have an outer product box. Just an outer cardboard sleeve. Brand name is “QIAOYAN.” Ingredients are NOT in English. Both palettes are plastic with clasp closure. No mirror. There’s 12 shades in each palette. One palette is more a neutral palette and the other is a more colorful palette.Neutral palette had 6 mattes and 6 shimmers. The colorful palette had basically all shimmers - 7 shimmers, 1 matte with micro glitter, and 4 satins. These palettes were HORRIBLE. I started swatching and didn’t even continue because they weren’t even showing up barely. The shimmers wouldn’t pick up barely at all, which isn’t usually a problem I have with shimmers when using my finger. I’ve had that happen with shimmers when using a brush, but not my fingers. The swatches I did are 3 layers each….and you can barely tell. The mattes were the same. They just didn’t want to pick up at all. There was kickup in the pan, but it’s like they just didn’t get picked up. But, I don’t like to base my opinion on a palette just from swatching. I’ve had plenty of palettes that swatched horrible that worked amazing on the eyes, and plenty that swatched amazing but worked horrible on the eyes. So I wanted to try it on my eyes to be sure. And…it still was HORRIBLE.The colorful palette had ONE shimmer that was easy to pick up, but was dry and crumbly, but smoothed out and had nice, even coverage with nice sheen to it,I’ve tried a lot of eyeshadow palettes from random brands here on Bolo. Some have been amazing, some have been okay, and some have been horrible. But, usually, the shimmers are at least the one good thing in them. Like they all usually have at least decent shimmers. But these were just…so bad! They were really dry. To pick up anything at all, k had to really dig my finger/brush into the pan. If it was a brush, it would just get fallout everywhere and not actually apply it onto my eye. If it was my finger, I’d still get some fallout, but I’d at least get something on my eye…but not much. If I dug my brush in to pick some up and then sprayed it with water/setting spray then applied it on my eye, it was a little better. But still not great. Not worth the effort. The mattes were the same. Just so hard to pick up and even if I did pick any up, it didn’t show up on the eyes. So I gave up on them.✳️MATTE LIPSTICKS✳️These come in an outer product box. Ingredients are in English. Brand name is “CmaaDU.”There’s 5 shades. These are kind of sheer. They looked like they’d be deep, dark, opaque colors. But they applied really sheer. They felt dry and waxy going on. Like tugged at the lips. And felt dry on the lips, which I expect with matte lips. But this wasn’t a comfortable matte at all. They’re not for me.✳️CRYSTAL CLEAR LIP GLOSSES✳️These come in an outer product box that’s sealed with plastic wrapping. Ingredients are in English. Brand name is “Peixen” (I think). They’re short, small tubes. They’re plastic with clear bottoms so you can see the shade of each one. They have standard doefoot applicator. There’s 6 shades. I really like these. You get a clear and then 6 colors. 1 of the colors has micro glitter in it, and the rest don’t. They don’t have a lot of color since they’re glosses. But they each have a subtle amount of color. They feel nice on the lips. They don’t feel sticky at all. I really like them!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great kit but get some brushes too
The makeup kit is good. You get everything you would want and comes in a nice travel size container. The eye makeup is the stand out, I use the eyeliner pen and mascara every day. I would expect to pay at least $60 for this normally. There are small plastic tubes of liquid makeup that I found ran out very quickly and have an obvious texture when applied. The blenders are standard and work exactly as expected. Most importantly I would supplement this with a kit of brushes.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great!
This makeup bag is so good for kids and very affordable! It comes with so many items in it and all the products are very good quality!
5.0 out of 5 stars Extensive set, Variety of products
I saw this set was available and thought it would allow my wife to try various products, so I ordered it. When it arrived, my wife and I started going through the set. We were both overwhelmed with the quantity and quality of products - a very large set for a very reasonable price ($29.99 at the time of this review)There are different shades of lipstick, eyeshadow, concealer, and other products, which make a perfect array of products for different eyes and skin tones. It’s like having your own mini-makeup store. My wife loves having everything all in one place instead of in different drawers. She's also not a big fan of buying makeup that she can't use.She feels the makeup bag is cute and will pack easily for travel. She especially enjoys trying different looks in her own home. She feels that you can get all this in one makeup kit, which will save time and money trying out stuff that may or may not work for you.Overall, she's very happy with this and is still trying the different products.
