Well, I have wasted more money on cuticle clippers than I care to remember. Sally Hanson sells dull, ineffective clippers and I have given that store several chances to bring in quality products. I turned to Bolo and researched the many different clippers available. I was skeptical that the reviews on this particular clipper were factual. I'm here to say, this clipper is sharp, accurate and requires very little pressure to produce a clean cut. This clipper is very sharp, and care must be taken not to cut the cuticle too close. I am amazed at the quality of this clipper and believe me, I'm picky!!! I recommend you try this clipper. I hope it lasts a long time, but when the time comes, I will buy again.

For sure these are the smallest cuticle trimmers I've owned, but it doesn't detract from them doing their job well. They cut right through my cuticles with no pulling. The material looks good and they come in a nice little tin. Fairly straightforward.

This clipper has proven to be both practical and effective. The difference between this and ordinary nail scissors comes in the amount of force it delivers per centimeter on the blade. The closing mechanism applies all the force evenly upon the tiny 4 cm blade and that delivers a powerful, clean cut. Compared to traditional scissors, it delivers significantly more punch. Compared to the ubiquitous nail clipper, it's much easier to apply precisely where you need it.I never realized I needed this and have never owned one before, but I've found it really useful for hard-to-reach toenails and precision trimming. It does take some getting used to because the blade extends at a 45° angle from the handle but with a bit of practice, it becomes easy.

It's an actual 1/4 jaw, and that's the only good thing to say about it. I have used dollar store nippers that cut better. From the start it was never that sharp, and after a few uses it's only gotten worse, dulling so badly at the tips that I start off snipping, then having to use the middle of the blades to finish the cut.
