The best thin about them is how they feel in your hand. They are longer than most and feel great to use. The set comes with everything you need. I can't think of a single thing about them I don't like.

Excellent excellent brand right here. These are great spoons and things. I really like the extremely high quality of these kitchen tools. They are durable, big enough for most jobs, and extremely high quality. They go through a beating in my house with how much I cook, so I am really happy that they are as good as they are. Sur La Table really did a great job with these. There are no real flaws with these products and they have held up well. Top quality and these get my top recommendation. Well done.

Based on the 5-star reviews, I was surprised when I opened the box to see that two of the utensils had gouge/flaws that need sanding. Yes, I could sand and hope for the best but I shouldn't have to for the price. Without sanding, I believe they would splinter/split and for that reason I am returning. Also, more porous and a softer wood than expected.

10/10 for these kitchen utensils! They're very big and sturdy, and I love the way they look. My one complaint is that they aren't dishwasher friendly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Oversized, incredibly sturdy luxury wooden kitchen tools
From Sur La Table, a famous luxury cooking brand, these are a set of five oversized beechwood kitchen tools. They come in an attractive gift box with all five on display, and are very nicely made from solid wood. The handles are comfortable to hold, and the tooling ends are functional and well designed. One utensil, the fork, had a few small rough edges around the cuts, but that was easily fixed by just scraping it with the side of anther kitchen utensil to deburr it. (I do wish they'd handled that at the factory, but it was a minor and momentary inconvenience.)These utensils have been a delight to use. They're maybe a bit less of a delight to store: the handles are oversized and comfortable, but that means they aren't very courteous residents of a typical kitchen counter utensil cup. If you spring for this set and want to use all five, give careful thought to where they will live in your kitchen, as they're a bit larger than is usual for this type of tool all around. Still, the comfort is worth the effort!

I can't believe the price of these. You get so much, and it's a name brand too. As most other people have pointed out, these wooden utensils are very large, which I think is a positive. They're not too big to fit into any pots/pans/etc. I have. The wood is very uniform and mine don't have any blemishes. The edges are all nice and smooth too and I like the engraved logos on the handles. I also like that they have holes in the handles so I can hang them up by the stove to save counter space. These will be replacing most of the wooden utensils I've been using. Highly recommended!

I got a set of All-Clad non-stick cookware for Christmas. First ever non-stick. Well, as you all probably know, you shouldn't use metal utensils on non-stick pots/pans. To that end, I decided to get Sur La Table Kitchen Essentials Beech Wood utensil set. There are five tools in all. Who knew wooden soup ladles even existed. These tools are uniform, crafted well and smooth to the touch. A bit longer than all my other tools so if you have a specific sized drawer, be sure to measure. I think I'll get one of those vase-like holders. Hope this helps you make an informed choice. Thanks!
