This Mickey Mouse Light Brite was such a nostalgic find! It brings back great memories, and the kids absolutely love it! The lights are bright and vibrant, making each design really pop. It’s so fun to create different pictures, and it keeps everyone entertained for hours. The Light Brite works perfectly, and it’s a wonderful activity that we can all enjoy together. Highly recommend for both kids and adults looking for a fun, creative way to spend time!

I forgot how awesome these things are! Love the new Barbie templates and the handy tool for inserting the little light pegs (which I didn’t figure out how to use until I had already done all but 15 pegs - I thought it was some something for helping it stand or change batteries , oops.)I had one of these as a kid. The upgraded lighting and various light up patterns on top of the trendy templates is great and the price is right. The timeout feature is a little short, so not sure if it would be good as a nightlight for older kids, but I still appreciate the feature overall. Brought back some great memories and helped me build some new ones with my niece.

The media could not be loaded. I had the HUGE Lite-Brite with the full-sized lightbulb when I was a kid. Remember how hot that used to get? Memories, lol! We used to LOVE playing with our Lite-Brite. I was thinking of those memories and looked on Bolo on a whim, in hopes to share those memories with my teen. I was so excited to see this Disney version, since we are a huge Disney family. This new version of the Lite-Brite did not disappoint! It was so fun to do together as a family. The pictures are super cool and the colors are beautiful! The lighting aspect doesn't appear that bold when you are in a bright space but take it in the dark and you will see how truly strong the lighting is, with four different light modes to choose from. It is also much more compact than the version we had as kids, which is a huge plus. The only comment I would make is that there are exactly enough pegs to complete a picture, not really any extras, so be careful not to lose any pegs. Also, I would suggest that if you are able, make color copies of the Disney paper inserts, because once you poke the holes and complete a picture, you will not be able to redo that particular picture again. If you have copies, you will be able to enjoy doing the pictures again and again.UPDATE - I had someone ask which characters came with this Lite Brite, which I thought would be a good thing to include in my review. I have attached a photo of the back of the box so that you can see the templates of which characters are actually included. They are Mickey, Minnie, Dumbo, Cinderella, Goofy, Donald, Woody & Buzz, Ariel, Pluto, Simba, Tinkerbell, and a Disney castle template.2ND UPDATE - For those that asked the size of the pictures, they are 8” wide x 7” high.

best lite bright! only not great thing is the lights aren’t pointy like we grew up with, so they are a little hard to pull out , but they are fun and the kids love them.

This brings back childhood memories. I had to get this for my daughter when I saw the hello kitty version. It indeed lives up to what I remember as a child. The ONLY downside I would say it the pegs aren’t as pointy as they used to be so they can be a little of a hassle to remove. But bonding with my daughter over something I grew up with was priceless !

I bought this as a thank you gift for a family of Disney addicts (their house is decorated completely in Disney themed materials). I didn't know if they had a Disney lite-brite for their kids or themselves. Thankfully, they didn't. They use it as a family gift in their living room. They take turns changing the design once a month. They were super surprised and very happy when they received the gift. They've done so much for me, and I was happy to find a unique gift to give them all in gratitude.I gave the toy a 5 for all the above reasons. BUT, I was very sad when I read in the description that only 12 Disney designs were provided. There are plenty of lite-brite refills online, but guess what? No Disney ones! I truly hope the makers of lite-brite will create several more designs and sell them as refills for all the Disney addicts out there. For this family, the lite-brite serves them as a piece of decor plus an additional way to offer family bonding each month. They need more Disney designs after that!
