this was not a bad buy. it makes a nice starter kit. I like the colors because I like more earth tone colors when it comes to makeup. it would make a great gift for a teenager or someone that is starting to wear makeup . I would recommend this as it comes with just about everything you need to look your greatest.

I got this beacuse after a couple of years of pandemic working from home, I needed to be around coworkers again and thought this would be great for practicing putting on makeup before having to return to the office. The kit really does have everything you need with lots of options of colors in the main pallet. Some things about this are great, and some are not.Lets start with the not: It has a lot of makeup brushes, but they are all quite small. While they work, the quality isn't great and I find myself using my other makeup brushes instead. The powder foundation is OK when I use the puffer pad provided, but not as much when I use a makeup brush designed for powder foundation - it just feels like it ends up way too thick and very unnatural looking with a brush instead of the puffer. The mascara is fine I guess, but the aplicator tip is much too small and makes it clump. The liquid eyeliner is abysmal, it skips when I try to apply it, does not go on smoothly, and there is no margin of error to correct mistakes - once it's on it's not going anywhere, kind of like a sharpie. Last not so great thing is that while the pallet is awsome, there is no place to store anything else this kit comes with in or with the pallet. It seems a little impractical, and I wish there was a drawer or something that could hold the rest of the stuff this comes with.Now for the good and great: The eyebrow pencil is nice and easy to use, and I like the addition of the brow soap. I got the black kit with more neutral colors and I like all of the blushes and have really enjoyed trying the different eye shadows and playing around with colors I normally wouldn't have purchased (like the orange ones), plus they apply well and look great. It also gives me an idea of what does look good so I can seek that color out later myself. The shocker for me was the lipstick. You get three matte lipsticks that are all slightly different colors and they all have a lovely watermelon smell that is fun while you apply it and doesn't last long, and they look and feel amazing and don't smudge or rub off easily unless wet. They all also compliment my fair skin very well.I appreciate that all of the pictures in the listing are of the actual products you will recieve with this kit. Nothing in here irritated my sensitive skin at all, and all of the products came off easily with makeup remover and cleanser.I think this is great for the purpose I got it for as an adult woman, and it would make an excellent gift or starter set for a teenager or young adult.
