5.0 out of 5 stars Better than what it’s rated!
I bought this for my daughter because she loves ice cream and she also doesn’t like desserts that are too sweet. I wasn’t expecting much after reading some of the other reviews and seeing how many stars it had in its ratings. But after letting the bowl freeze 24 hours we gave it a shot and followed the recipe for the chocolate ice cream minus the cocoa and added a little bit more vanilla. Then we put the lid on and turned it on and after 15 minutes (it says 20-30 in the directions) my daughter got excited because she could see more progress than we thought there would be and so, being only 10, she got impatient and wanted to try it. It was the consistency of soft serve, and it tasted good. I want to add that after reading some of the reviews about the ice cream not freezing enough or getting thick enough, that I wrapped a kitchen towel around the bowl to insulate it to keep more of the cold in, which is probably why after only 15 minutes it was the desired consistency for my daughter. That’s just an idea. It’s great for one person and it did taste a lot better fresh than store bought. It’s instructions are easy to follow, however , like others have said, it doesn’t contain a recipe book or even ideas within the packaging or in the instruction book so that’s unfortunate because how is anyone to know exactly what to use to make it out of besides milk and sugar and how much since it’s only a pint or less size. I took screenshots off the page where thankfully there are several recipes listed, at least enough to give you an idea of the ingredients and how much, etc. I’d say that’s really the only downfall is not having the recipe to follow contained with the product, other than that, this is a really cute little thing that seems to work well and is very easy to operate.
1.0 out of 5 stars I had high hopes and was so excited!
I was so happy to see a pink pint-size ice cream maker. I got it and read the instructions. I washed it up and put it in the freezer for 3 days. I wanted to be sure it was good and frozen. I followed the instructions exactly, and even after an hour, it was still barely cold and stayed a liquid. I added on even more time and the top of the machine was extremely hot, so I gave up. I am so disappointed because I wanted a smaller machine to test out recipes. However, it just did not freeze at all, NOT EVEN A TINY BIT. I am returning it for a refund.
5.0 out of 5 stars A Little Girl's Dream
My 5 year old granddaughter loves ice cream. I thought this would be a great Christmas gift for her. We actually made her first "batch" on Christmas day. Her ice cream turned out well. Just the right size for personal quantities. Very easy to use and was a great value for the money.
4.0 out of 5 stars The joy of eating homemade ice cream
I like how easy it is to use and maintain. I was looking for a small ice cream maker. This product is a good size for making one serving, but I think I could have chosen a slightly larger size.

The media could not be loaded. Gather 'round, fellow dessert enthusiasts! I've got the inside scoop on a kitchen gadget that's about to revolutionize your sweet tooth game: the Tasty Mini Ice Cream Maker!Only had it a few weeks, but so far, I’ve made: Nutella Ice Cream, Vanilla FroYo, and my latest masterpiece: Dulce De Leche Peanut Butter Swirl! Three words: Taste Bud Paradise!Drooling yet?? Now, let's talk ease of use. This thing is a breeze! All you need to do is freeze the bowl for 24 hours… cue the drumroll… and then you're off to the races! I'm talking Zero to Ice Cream Hero in 15-20 minutes flat! And can we take a moment to appreciate how cute it looks in pink on my counter while it’s churning? Talk about Kitchen Eye Candy! This pint-sized wonder churns out 3-4 servings of pure bliss. It's like having your own little ice cream parlor tucked away in the kitchen! And let's not forget the creativity factor. With this little gem, the flavor possibilities are endless! I'm talking wild, wacky, and downright delicious! You can also make healthier, allergen-free treats like FroYo and Sorbet, you are in control of the ingredients!Helpful hints: be sure to the follow the instructions and leave 1.5” space from the top because it will expand as it churns and can be a little messy, found out the hard way on my first batch!! Also, I’ve found it’s easier to pour the mixture directly into the bowl, before churning, I don’t use the chute. I’d use the chute near the end of the cycle to sprinkle in something special like chopped peanut butter cups, toffee chips, etc. Another little trick: I start with a mixture appropriate for 1 pint, then I make the 1st batch, whatever doesn’t fit, I pop back in the fridge while the 1st batch churns. Once it is ready, I scrape it out into another container and put it in the freezer, then I immediately make the 2nd batch, the bowl is still cold enough to last another round. Then I mix the 2 batches together by hand, for a creamy, dreamy, soft serve texture. If I can be patient and restrain myself from devouring it on the spot, I put it back in the freezer to firm up a little. I think it tastes better and it’s worth the wait. My family LOVES it!!I keep the bowl on standby in my freezer at all times so I’m ready to whip up a decadent dessert whenever the mood strikes! So, if you're in the market for a sweet treat savior, look no further. The Tasty Mini Ice Cream Maker has officially earned a permanent spot in my heart—and my freezer!
2.0 out of 5 stars Not Very Good Machine
Tried this product to make homemade peach ice cream. It never froze the ice cream after 45 minutes. The ice bowl was in the freezer for 48 hours. I would not suggest to buy.If your fruit is frozen and you use it it will probably work as an ice cream maker. But it did not work for me with unfrozen fruit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super cute!
The media could not be loaded. It works pretty well, but I always use a bowl with ice outside because I live in a hot place and I feel like it kind of makes it go faster. Also, it comes without an instructions that does give you the website, but one thing that I noticed he’s like you shouldn’t use more than one cup. of whatever liquid at a time, I also kind of stopped it in the middle of the process for a little bead, and then I put it again and I feel like that helps for some reason in my none it might be my imagination, but I really liked it and I’m happy with it and I’m making ice cream and only takes about half an hour. that one there is Coquito ice cream. One can of coconut milk one can of evaporate, a little bit of spices like nutmeg or cinnamon or all spice. He’s always good and put to make one cup at a time.
amazing and cute
its a very cute gift for little ones. and makes a good ice cream !!
