This mat is an excellent size for the raised dog food bowls we have. It's aesthetically pleasing, absorbs water well, is easy to spot clean, and does the trick. It also protects the floor underneath. It did have a chemical smell upon initial opening; however, the smell dissipated within a day or two of unrolling and airing out. If you have a 4-legged messy eater, you'll appreciate having this mat under their food bowls!

I did purchase on lightning deal for like $5 so for that the size and quality is great. Would prefer a little larger but wanted to try the brand first before I spent $20+. Cute designs and it’s pretty thick and absorbent and seems to wipe off ok. DEFINITELY if you have smaller dogs or a cat the smaller on lightning deal esp would be a good choice. It holds 2 of our med bowls just fine but if you have a larger or messier pup you’re gonna need more space. We have several around and larger ones also. The ONLY reason for 4 stars is that it’s not as big as I would like but the dimensions when ordering were correct. I see so many reviews where ppl clearly did check dimensions nor read the entire listing /description lol. So the lack of 5⭐️is nothing really to do with quality however we have only had it a couple weeks at this point

The mat is pretty small and does not absorb all the water from my two dogs. I still have 3 stars though, because I have two German shepherds. Might work better for little dogs or cats.
