5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful shoe rack
This bamboo shoe rack is both attractive and super easy to assemble. Well made and sturdy, unlike the plastic ones I've tried. A very reasonably priced unit, that can double as a shelf unit. I love it and it doesn't take up a lot of space.
5.0 out of 5 stars easy assembly.
The racks are light weight but sturdy. They are well finished and thanks to their mortise and tenon construction they go together with no tools and no confusion. I am very pleased with the product.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works for what I needed
So I didn’t use this for shoes…. I used it for storing canning jars in my canning room. I had a small space to work with and needed something I could customize into a modular type system. This worked perfectly. It’s versatile in that you don’t have to set it up exactly how the picture shows. Instead of 3 staggered height towers I did 4 all the same. Quality is ok, not outstanding. There were a few pieces that came cracked. I used those toward the top so they would hold less weight. Assembly was straightforward but not necessarily super quick. Some of the pieces took a bit of coaxing to fit in place and I also had to bust out my tools and reshape some of the ‘legs’ to make 4 same sized towers. What I ended up with is the perfect size and capacity for the space I have and actually holds a lot more weight than I thought. I think having 4 same size towers helps evenly distribute weight too. I have them set up in a cube - 2 deep, 2 wide. I’m now organized and happy!
3.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistent
I ordered 2 of these from the same company. The first one went together easily. No glue just tongue and grove. Sturdy enough good size. I was pleased enough to order a second one. Second one is awful . Its slats keep falling out, are snug like the first one. won’t stay in place falls apart. So can’t give a great review.
5.0 out of 5 stars Simple
Goes together easily, takes up minimal space and holds my crocs side by side.
1.0 out of 5 stars Cracks, splits on assembly: Bamboo Shoe Rack 17 Tier- Vertical Shoe Rack for Small Spaces
It's a great idea, poorly executed. As I assembled it, pressing the support pieces into the hole - each hole did split. Only one or two was simply "firm" otherwise extremely tight and of course the Bamboo, as it does, it split. If you have a mind to keep it as you put it together and are handy, simply apply some white-glue as you go. But - then, that's it and will remain.I liked the functional, changeable design - sadly, it would not survive a reconfiguration well, unless then glued. I considered hard-bar-soap to possibly ease my assembly then wondered - so proceeded.I got the 17 tier format. I see/saw I would wind up with left over pieces which confuses me - either a platform (need even numbers for tiers since it takes two to make one) - or, the support sticks (two packets leftover with how I configured this.It could otherwise be a 4-5 star recommendation, but sadly, not with how this was and I read the other reviews.I don't have the time to "sand" holes and etc. and expect to receive a product as describe and not damage itself as assembled - unless specified - "expect cracks and splitting" ? as you proceed and left over parts if purchase the uneven format. If it had 18 platform pieces I could have used the left over 8 support sticks - 4 to make that level and 4 to attache it.
2.0 out of 5 stars Flimsy and difficult to make evenly
It doesn't look too bad, but the spaces are too small for a lot of shoes and it wobbles on the ground. Cheap, and not good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally no missing parts
I bought before this rack & i noticed it's come with missing parts after that i read lot's of reviews & they have same problem after few months i just order one more and thankfully it's come without missing parts, so now i chang my 1 star review to 5 star , overall good light weight rack, it's great for inside use. Heavy wind or sun heat can destroy this rack in few months
Great solution for small space
We looked forever for a solution for our tiny hall closet and this works great. Women's size 9 shoes fit fine and you just have to put the men's size 10's in one at a time - both hang out a bit over the front. Anything much bigger might be a problem. Wish I could buy a smaller set to add a few more rows. They fit together really well and were pretty sturdy once in place. Technically you only get two top sections (it has a different style post so there's no hole). I needed 3 stacks so one has a gap in the top but it still functions well and you can't see it anyway.
easy to assemble
It is sturdy enough and will serve our purposes
Works perfect
The media could not be loaded. Fits perfectly in the space, easy instructions straight from the box, some leg pieces I had to file down cause it was too long to fit in the slots provided but other than that I really like how it works with the space I have.
Ok but not very sturdy
Product is ok, base pieces are really thin and the edges split really easily. It's ok but I wouldn't but it again.
Low Quality
Does not fit most of our shoes, very low quality, pieces are already broken
