This was fairly easy to install but you do need an electric outlet installed behind the mirror. Typically there are lights above existing mirrors. If needed the power can be relocated to a spot lower on the wall. It comes with a plug but can also be hardwired. I think plugging into an outlet behind the mirror makes more sense.The light looks awesome. It has many different colors and light levels to choose from.

We replaced the light and mirror in our bathroom to try to fit a larger mirror in there for taller people. This mirror is really easy to install, it took less than 5 minutes. I cut off the plug and hard wired it into the previous light wires. The mirror looks and feels very well made. Anyone who sees it comments on how nice it is and where they can get one. The light effects are fun for the kids, but they can be easily adjusted so that when guests come over it isn't too wild. Overall, I would buy this same mirror all over again.

The media could not be loaded. I love this mirror. It will light up in three different neutral colors. It will dim down to a night light. The video I took doesn't show the dimming well because the phone camera adjusts for the lighting. I haven't used the defrost yet because it has been installed in a vacant rental unit. All of these pictures the mirror still has the protective coating. I left it on because we are still doing dusty drywall work in the rental. *Note that I don't think you can separate the back light from the front light. I believe it's either all on, all off or all dimmed. Also, when I read the reviews I didn't see any pictures of the back of the mirrors so I included that. Now I have ordered two of these mirrors and both are similar behind the mirror. Although the mirror can be hung with different orientations that means your controlls for the mirror functions will follow that. For example, if you need to hang upside down the controls would be on the right top of the mirror. Both sizes of mirror i ordered had the controls on the left front. This was important to me because in order to install the plug we were running into venting and stud obstacles behind the mirror. The plug for these mirrors is flat and there is at least one half inch of space behind the mirror to clear the plug as the mirror hangs flat against the wall. I do hope the light lasts for a good long time. I haven't seen any reviews about that. Lastly, the mirror is hung by two points on the wall. The two "hangers" allow the mirror to hook to the Ridge on the mirror frame. It it very easy to remove, or slide the mirror left or right slightly depending on how far apart you place the hardware on the wall. The mirror is very sturdy on the wall.

I bought the mirror months ago and just now had it installed. Easy to install. Only takes 2 brackets! Looks great. All the advertised functions seem to work, so for now I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is a replacement the first one cracked while already hung on the wall, unknown reason why it cracked,but it was immediately replaced. So I'm enjoying my beautiful functional mirror with built in defogger and RGB lights plus front lighting.

I barely used the mirror with the LED lights, which is what I really liked about it and they stopped working in 2 months after just a hand full of uses. I wish I had a warranty - it’s so disappointing. But then I reached out to the company and they were so quick to get back with me to try to help troubleshoot the issue. They even sent me a video of things that I could try to resolve it. When I was unable to resolve it myself, they offered to have someone come fix it or send me a brand new mirror in which I chose the new mirror and have received it. So while my particular issue, maybe unique to me It’s nice knowing that a company is willing to go above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the product and for that I am grateful.
