I have two different set ups for Halloween lights and wished to not have to remember to plug in and out nightly, nor leave it on all night. I was unsure if this device would work for “dusk setting” on a porch.Works perfectly! Easy to set up. Ordered one for the backyard lights

I bought these to replace a couple of outdoor timers that used an app on my iPhone to set the on & off times. They were glitchy and never worked as advertised, so I was relegated to walking outside and plugging in the lights and doing the same to unplug them before bedtime. Sometimes one or the other would work fine, but never did they both operate as advertised. They were aggravating and worthless. These timers are simple and reliable. Just set it and forget it.

Now I can have my patio party lights on again. It seems to be a great little timer. Time will tell. I have it come on at dusk and run for six hours. I like to have my patio lit up in the evening. Delivered on time and I am pleased with its performance.

I would have given it 5 stars but when it arrived I plugged it into the outdoor lights that I wanted Dusk to Dawn. I first moved the dial to On, but the lights didn't come on. I moved the dial to 4 Hrs, lights came on, but according to the instructions that setting was to provide power at dusk and shut off after 4 hours.I turned the dial to Dusk and it worked that night and beyond.The steps I took above made me think the product was defective.
