5.0 out of 5 stars Very Satisfied with These Aprons
We have 2 dozen assorted fruit and nut trees. These aprons are exactly what we needed. Their carrying capacity is large enough to make using them worthwhile but not so big that filling them makes them too heavy or awkward to safely use an orchard ladder. Once we'd adjusted the pocket closure straps and fit them properly to ourselves we didn't have to worry about the fruit being dumped in normal circumstances.I'll probably run an additional line of stitching along the seams to reinforce it for longer service life but I don't see any urgent need to do so. The construction seems solid enough. As an aside, I was glad to see that they were available in the hot pink color because my vision is almost as bad as my attention span nowadays and it makes them so much easier to spot in the orchard when I'm not sure where I left them.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Thing Is Great
This harvesting/gardening apron is going to be a game changer for me this upcoming growing season. Unfortunately I didn't get it in time to use for the 2023 season, but I can still tell that it is going to be super helpful when I do get to use it. First of all it is very well made and seems like it should last quite a long time. The stitching is well done and is reenforced where needed. There are a good bit of long thread ends on the inside, but a lighter would make quick work of cleaning that up. It is made of a nice heavy duty and fairly stiff canvas. It says it is 80% cotton, but I'm not so sure about that. It doesn't feel like any cotton I've ever known and seems more like nylon to me. However either way it is definitely a good durable canvas material. The straps are fairly basic, but plenty comfortable and fully adjustable for fit. Other than the main pouch it has 4 elastic top tool pockets and a black stuff pouch at the chest area. The main pouch is the best part though. It is quite large and should hold a lot of harvested items. It has plenty of adjustability to include the depth of it and how far out the opening hangs. The depth adjusting straps also have the release buckles on them that allow you to release the bottom flap and let your harvest fall out the bottom into a bucket or whatever you want to dump it into. Other than harvesting stuff, you could also use the main pouch to carry weeds, fertilizer bags, firewood, or whatever you wanted to put into it. The apron also comes with a pair of gloves that are surprisingly a really decent pair of nylon dipped gardening gloves. They are around a medium in size and are actually a well made set of gloves. They should last quite awhile with a little care. All in all this apron and the gloves are great. I am very excited to get to fully use it for the upcoming spring and summer growing season. Given how well it is made and designed, I full suspect that it is going to work out awesome and be very helpful. I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Would be great except for one thing
Loved everything about this apron except for the fact that all the front pockets are the same size. I wish that there were a couple that could accommodate a slightly wider item, like a hand cultivator/tiller, where you could put it in head first instead of handle only. The reason for that is because whenever I would lean forward to pick something up or reach for something the cultivator would fall out. Other than that, this apron is very well made and I like that it crosses over behind your back (like suspenders) so the straps don't slide down your shoulders. Love the water resistant kangaroo pocket that can keep my phone and other non-gardening stuff dry, safe, and separate.
5.0 out of 5 stars PERFECT For Walking With Canes- Even My Cat Likes It- Wait Til You Hear This
Due to a very frustrating situation with a nearby tower, I have been forced to walk with two canes out of left field temporarily as I heal from what has been done to everyone living in the area. That means that I can suddenly not carry things like I was used to doing.I have been very active doing tons of things daily including gardening, harvest, and house cleaning and rearranging. Suddenly, when you have to walk with two canes, that all feels like you have just crashed into a brick wall.FITThis fits very well. It can adjust to your waist and back easily. I wear a size 14-16 misses US and this fits well with a lot of room to expand if needed for someone larger.FABRICThis fabric is coated so that it is not a cotton duck, but more like what you would find in camping gear and backpacks. It repels water to a degree and wipes clean more easily than unfinished cotton.CARRYINGI love this apron. I can carry many things in the front pocket. I can bring Bolo packages in from outside. I can carry things around the house to an extent, and I can also bring a carafe to the table to make tea. This has really opened my life back up until I can walk again.HARVESTHarvest is not easy, but this allows me to carry my stool on a backpack, sit on the stool in between picking apples. Although I can not put them into a basket unless someone is with me to carry them, I can carry a good sized load to the house if needed.CATI do not face a single day without my apron on. I was attempting to go to the bathroom and saw the cat had sneaked in with a fresh kill right where I needed to go. Being quite upset I was trying to get her away from the toilet area with her kill so I could clear the floor and use the toilet. That is not easy to do when you have to go really badly and need two canes to walk.In frustration, I tried to get her to take her kill with her, but alas, she was being a very difficult cat. Finally, I managed to scoop her up (since playing cat hockey with two canes was fruitless) and I jammed her down into my pouch. Most cats would make a mess of the apron, but my cat got very happy in the pouch and would not get out. I had to carry her around the house for half an hour. She likes it in there.THE BOTTOM LINEWhether it is for harvest, gardening, cane walking, or kitty transport, this apron is very handy to have and I honestly could not live without it.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. I love the way that the bottom flap snaps shut. Other models are not as nice as this one is. I would buy this again in a minute. It is heavy duty and ultra helpful.
I love it
I haven't tried it for foraging yet, but the ajustment is perfect, I can make it so the weight of everything will be evenly spreaded on my body. Can't wait to try it. I do recommend the product!
