4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect replacement & longer cord length than original
My son lost his charging cable and power brick for his TI-84 CE calculator. He did still have the transfer cable (mini-USB to micro-USB?), but the charging cable was missing. Fortunately, this charging cable was a perfect replacement and has worked for several re-charges for this school year. The negative is that it doesn't come with a plug in power supply. He is using his iPhone 12W wall charger and this cable to charge and it seems to be working fine. I am not sure if this wattage is too much and will look at getting a smaller wall charger (5W) that we have somewhere around the house. According to TI, their calculators require "TI wall charger that came with your calculator or other UL-certified USB charger rated for at least 1 amp." So, given the wall chargers from Apple are UL-certified and they produce more than 1amp, we're good. I am not aware of any UL designation requirements for charging cables though. So, will plan on using the smaller charger going forward to be safe I appreciate the extra cord as this gives some insurance for the years ahead.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect replacement
I had an old nspire CAS CX that I haven't used since high school, and recently needed it for a grad school course where we're doing symbolic integrations. The cable was long gone, and I was happy to see a replacement at this price point. It worked as I expected, and had good connections to ports with no worry it would fall out or have any problems.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very cheap
Works great and is very inexpensive. Its the exact same as the one that comes with the calculator
5.0 out of 5 stars No complaints
I decided to go with the 2 pack, so that one can be left at home and one in the backpack just in case there’s a dead calculator emergency. It has only been used it once, but it worked exactly as I’d expect it to. It’s priced right in my opinion. Please note that it does not come with the charging plug.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good spare cord
This cord is for my daughter's TI-84 plus so that she can keep one in her school backpack and one at her desk at home. The calculator doesn't need to charge often, but when you need it, you need it. Having extras where you tend to work can be a lifesaver.
