5.0 out of 5 stars Super useful budget smart watch
Note this is my first smart watch and also my first fitness tracker. The heartbeat monitor is what I bought it for and while I haven't vetted its accuracy, it's a baseline. One day I'll compare it with another heartbeat monitor to see, mine runs a bit high and the manual says +/- 20 bpm so don't expect huge accuracy. But if you wear it the same way it's a reference point.Everything else is really solid. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sleep tracking hours worked correctly on the first night despite some interrupted patterns. It keeps records and tracks heartbeat and the on demand activity tracker works well. The app has some translation funnies but is surprisingly robust; expect a few English issues but everything seems extremely well engineered. It does screen on based on just looking, has good watch faces, informational, pedometer seems good, etc. Getting important emails, texts, etc. at a wrist glance is nice and the phone finder mostly works (on Android 12).One day I'll buy a Fitbit but for me this was $15 and a 5 star value proposition.
5.0 out of 5 stars Inaccurate step count
I counted 20 steps out. It counted over 450. That's an insane difference. Absolutely not helpful if you bought it specifically for that purpose. Returning it.Edit: changing my review and star rating. My husband had me delete the app and re connect everything...and somehow it worked. The watch works great now and is accurate within 10 steps, which I can deal with. It tracked my sleep which is interesting. Going to test it for a week and see how it goesEdited again to add: this thing is amazing. Totally worth the money. I've had it for about 10 days and it's still at half charge. I really didn't expect such quality for this low price. Amazing.
4.0 out of 5 stars A great starter watch for tracking!
So easy to set up. Playing with it will solve what the app or pamphlet can’t help you with. Was very surprised to see that it has a blood pressure monitor. It was not advertised as having one. Checked it several times since it arrived and the pressures are pretty close! Love the teal green color! Can’t wait to use it tomorrow on my walk and to start checking my sleep patterns!Update:The blood pressure is not as accurate sometimes as originally seen. Everything else seems to be fine though. Be sure to wear the watch tight enough. I am not use to that so it takes getting use to.Not disappointed at all! Giving it 4 stars just because of the BP accuracy.
1.0 out of 5 stars Pedometer disfunctional
I have been walking 3-7 days since December 2023. Until Janurary. My goal is 7000 steps. However, I have since realized that if I wanted 3+ miles I would have to walk 8000+ steps. The other problem I discovered is that I can't where my watch all day, there is no way to stop the pedometer. My goal of 3miles+ cannot be set. Another discrepancy I found is that, when driving the watch is still counting steps, thus giving me an inflated read. I also discovered that the blood pressure read, never matches what my pressure machine reads. So, that aspect is a wash.I really thought it would be great to have a watch that did more than tell time. I don't need a phone watch. I don't care to have all of my messages on a watch. However, I was tired of having to pull my phone out to tell time. I missed not wearing a watch. And thought that having a pedometer function that translated steps into actual miles walked was a double benifit. And when I realized that it also could give me my blood pressure read, now I had hit the jackpot. But, to my dismay, neither of those things are actually true. The last two days the watch did not match the app, but somehow self corrected on the fist day. Yesterday, I set out to walk to and from the grocery. I know this walk to be one and a have hours to two. Yesterday, it registered less than 3000 steps and claimed that my walk was only 36 minutes. I was aghast to discover the incorrect data. If it misreads again, I am going to return this faulty product. Has anyone else had this trouble?
5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional for value.
Updated after 1 week of use-- device is tricky to get use to settings. Swipe right: revels options to enable features; heart rate, sleep, and movement to illuminate screen. Other optional can not figure out, but is always disabled. Battery life displayed here as well. Swipe left: actual functions; sport, heart rate, blood oxygen and blood pressure then scroll up for 2 more screens. Easily sync to app VeryFit Pro. Battery life: went on a cruise without using any functions(sport, timer) lasted only used 34%. Didn't have charger with me.
3.0 out of 5 stars Okay pedometer, other features are lacking
I've been using this for a few weeks now after my Fitbit died and I was looking for a potentially cheaper option. For the price, it's alright. Definitely not a Fitbit.Step counting accuracy is all right, if you swing your arms a lot, like for running. It does not do a good job at tracking steps you take around the house.Calorie counting is weird, if you have it in a sports mode, it appears to count calories accurately, but for Non-Sport mode, it will barely track anything.Heart rate seems fairly reliable, which is nice to have while exercising as well. The app is a little clunky, and does have problems syncing your daily info.Clock face is easy to read, it's not too big on the wrist, and is lightweight.Overall, it's a decent product for the price you pay, but it definitely does not compare to more expensive fitness trackers. I will continue to use it until Black Friday sales hit, and then I'm buying myself a more sophisticated tracker, but it's an alright placeholder for now.
