This set of facial cellulose sponges is quite impressive. When the package arrives, you may be surprised that there are 60 sponges wrapped up in plastic. Each sponge is quite thin, maybe the same thickness as two or three business cards in a stack. Once you add water, it expands quite a bit!The directions say that you wet the sponge, add your facial cleanser, work it in and squish the sponge to make it foam, and wash your face. This definitely works with foaming cleanser. Non-foaming cleanser will not magically foam in this sponge. The sponge just kind of sucks up the cleanser. I find this occurs whether you work the cleanser in (as if to lather) or if you just put it on top. What I find works best is to put the cleanser all over your face, as you do when you begin to cleanse, then use the sponge to exfoliate and continue the cleansing process.The exfoliation level is very light. The first time you use a sponge, it may seem somewhat abrasive. After the first time, it's a very very gentle feeling of exfoliation. I feel like it leaves my skin feeling a bit more refreshed than when I just wash with my hands. If you have sensitive skin, I think you'll be okay using these. If you're looking for elevated exfoliation, I do not think you'll find it here.With 60 in a package, it will take a super long time to get through this set. The sponges are definitely disposable, so you can use them the amount of time each that you feel is appropriate. When rating, it asks whether these are good for traveling. I definitely think these are good for traveling, especially when you pack one straight from the package, because it will take up virtually no space at all in your luggage! It will allow you to have some light exfoliation on your trip, and you can just throw the sponge away before you travel home.My four star review, instead of a five star, is due to that thing of the sponge basically sucking up cleanser and not letting it out that much. It feels like I'm wasting cleanser when I apply it directly to the sponge. When I apply the cleanser to my face and then use the sponge, however, it's definitely a five star experience.

These tiny sponges are very useful in the morning when I am on the go and need to wash my face. The pink shape heart is super cute and it adds to beginning my day with such a nice reminder of what I want my day to start up.It doesn’t sponge up really thick but enough for you to put your cleanser and wash your face vigorously and also use it too. Rinse your face and carefully go around your eyes as well. It’s very soft to the touch and it doesn’t break and disintegrate. It is a very strong sponge that can be used several times in my opinion.Especially when I’m on the go or traveling I just take a couple and don’t have to worry about using other products to cleanse my face it’s sponge. I never knew I needed it but I absolutely love.Highly recommend!

This review is for "BEAKEY 60-Count Compressed Facial Cleansing Sponge, Rounded Cellulose Facial Sponges, Reusable Cosmetic Spa Sponges for Facial Cleansing, Makeup Removal"This is a 60-pack of compressed sponges for cleaning the face. They are construction paper thin until wet then they plump up and it's always amusing to see it in action. The sponges are useful for lathering up cleansers and gently exfoliating the face. I think these would also be good for spa nights with family or friends. After using one for a couple of days to a week I like to demote them from facial cleaning sponges to household cleaning sponges. I find they are the perfect size for cleaning my cat fountains, They get into every nook and cranny with ease. I have also used them to clean the bathroom sinks and other small hard to reach areas. I'm sure that creative people will come up with more ways to use them.
