This was a hit with baby and parents! It goes great with an ocean theme or blue color scheme, and has a nice variety of shapes & tones while being classy and subtle. I was worried about the felt dots on the whale as a possible choking hazard since they just seem to be glued on (unlike the whale's eyes, which look like they're stitched), but I wasn't actually able to get one off, so they seem to be on very securely.The circle frame doesn't hang perfectly level, but a kid isn't going to care (nor would most adults, I imagine, and you could probably play around with the string if it bothered you). Apparently the baby preferred when the mobile was moving, so we got them a mobile spinner/music player to go with this, although you can also manually rotate the circle and wind up the string to get it to spin briefly.
