Murdoch never gets boring!

This is a delightful series. The murder mysteries are still surprisingly unique, the characters varied yet work together in spite of differences in personalities, personal belief systems, imagination (or lack thereof, as the case may be). I have learned that one must pay attention to the dialogue or otherwise miss sidesplitting humorous quips that will bring tears to your eyes. And the bone dryness and toy soldier-ish persona of Murdoch would be nearly intolerable if it weren't for his facial expressions which indicate he really doesn't get what we all get, and it doesn't matter because Julia, his wife, has his alter ego in overdrive most of the time and tied up in knots. He makes allowances for her, because he loves her madly.

Season 16 of the "Murdoch Mysteries" has an incredible 24 episodes, which is rare indeed these days, so you definitely get your money's worth. In addition, many are among the best written and acted of any season. If you are already a fan, season 16 will almost certainly not disappoint, and if you are new to this series, I think that you will be delighted with this outstanding series. It is not for no reason that it has continued for an astonishing 16 seasons.

Me and my husband watched all the previous episodes on TV but they ended with season 13. So I broke down and purchased season 14, 15 and 16 for my husband for christmas and we both enjoyed them very much. Just a shame that TV series like this are so far and few between.
