Solaray is a brand I am familiar with from my local health food store. I have found their products to be superior quality in the past and was grateful to find they have a Quercetin available.I like to take quercetin when I take zinc. I find them to work well together. One a catalyst for the other.Side note: If I take zinc on an empty stomach I always get an upset stomach, (like morning sickness) so I eat, then take zinc about 30 minutes later and take quercetin then as well. (*Note: This does not have zinc in it- just a note because that is how I utilize this for benefits.)I also appreciate a reasonable dose. I don't want extreme or excessive doses of vitamins and supplements. Just a reasonable and appropriate dose that I take only when I need it.This is not the cheapest, but with vitamins and foods that I am using to feel well I want superior quality and I find that consistently from Solaray. I haven't seen this brand at big box cheap retailers because they don't carry items of this high quality. For my own genuine wellness, personally I don't want the cheapest that the big box generics have - I want the best.Solaray has earned my complete trust for my health with consistent high quality products like this one.

Solary has always been marketed as a trusted brand. I've never had any problems with this brand before. I've finished the bottle already and while I've not experience any changes or benefits from it, I have also not experienced any bad side effects.I do want to comment on some notations from another reviewer. First of all, when the company mentioned testing on the product, they meant that they do their own in-house testing on each raw ingredient before it's used to make the final product. This is ON TOP of a third party doing the same testing on their end. This is to ensure each ingredient meets the requirements for purity and efficacy and that the results of the testing are consistent. I work in pharma and this is how it works. Plus final testing is also done on the finished product as well, although not stated. As a general rule, supplements and vitamins are not regulated by the FDA so that is why FDA has no comment on this product.

Solaray has developed a novel formula for their quercetin that makes it more potent by way of being more absorbable. I am happy to see this because I can take less pills for the same results. The Solaray Prosorb capsules are small and easy to swallow. I did not notice any bad taste and I did not notice any GI issues with these capsules. I did not notice any benefits right away although I did get some mild positive results within a week. I will continue to take them through the season for continued support. It does take a little time to saturate your body with the quercetin so if you know the season is coming start early. I can heartily recommend Solaray Quercetin. I thought this was a good price for a 30 day supply. The brand is very stable and trustworthy. It’s been around since 1973. They are environmentally conscious, very transparent and have all the certifications required that warrant your trust.

I normally take Quercetin every day with my zinc vitamins. If this company's claims are true about 20 times absorption, then I would of thought the milligram amount for these would of been lower than my Quercetin tablets I presently take. The bottle was only about 20% full but that is just a marketing trick anyway.I know this is a quality brand and I do trust their claims for the 20x absorption. I really like that their bottles are all from recycled plastic to help the environment.My big question I guess is if these are absorbing at 20 times my normal amount but the milligrams are the same, does that mean I am getting 20 times the amount of Quercetin into my system?

I take many of solaray's vitamins and supplements regularly. I also regularly take a traditional quercetin supplement, but usually buy a different brand for that. I was very interested in this product being that it apparently is 20x the absorption of traditional quercetin. While that's hard for me to personally gauge, I was able to find studies and literature online that support that claim. So while this is a bit more expensive per capsule than my other quercetin supplement (not massively pricier given that quercetin in general kind of an expensive supplement), if it does in fact yield 20x the bioavailability, than it's definitely a great value. Because I take it for overall immune health, I can't really say whether or not it is more effective than traditional quercetin, but since the cost is not too substantial, I may switch over to using this product more regularly.

I am always on the lookout for antioxidants, and quercetin is a potent one. I shop for and take plenty of supplements, and one mark of quality I look for is third party lab testing. I’m very pleased to see that this company goes to the trouble and expense of testing their supplements for purity and accuracy. It makes me much more confident as I’m taking them! I’ve taken these for a few days now, and they’ve cause me no problems.
