I use this light in a small booth and it words great. The only negative is that for the remote app to work on your phone you have to physically push the button on the rear of the unit, then the app works. To alleviate this you would have to have the unit plugged in and then turn it on and off with the app. Once you turn the unit off from the electrical source then you need to restart it by pushing the button on the rear. Too bad the BT feature doesn't just turn the unit on or off if it plugged into wall. But get a diffuser if you don't want a harsh light.

I really like this light. While it does provide good brightness, it's most effective when the subject is close to it. This is the third light I've purchased. If you need more illumination, you can use an attachment arm to mount two lights on the same stand.

This 65W LED Mini COB light by Neewer, is another example of a useful, higher quality product by Neewer. If you need a versatile studio light, this one feels well-made, provides a lot of light for the size, with colored diffuser pack and battery capabilities for easy movement. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – As with almost everything I’ve gotten from Neewer, It’s built tough and out of good quality materials. This one should last a long time.II. Performance – This light is really bright for the size and is highly adjustable. It comes with multiple power options and a 6 color diffuser pack. Nice handle for hand holding and moving it around, much better than others. It’s very quiet compared to my other versions of this light from other companies. The hood changing is simple and locks into place with an affirming click and a Bowens mount adapter for assessor compatibility.Overall, I really like using this light. I have a few of these type of lights from competition companies and this one is my favorite for a compact design when needing to move around. It fits my needs, has worked flawlessly, exceeded my expectations, and left me wanting to use it the next time. If you need a productions light that’s versatile like this one, you won’t be disappointed.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. I am creating a setup for students to do interviews, and this offers me the possibility of the light being used on a stand as well as being portable. When I say portable, I mean that it can use battery power and be 100% portable! you just need to purchase/supply the batteries. The light runs nice and cool, and responds quickly to the adjustments made on the back panel, with a readout confirming the settings (which enables quick setting to previously determined levels.I was extremely happy to see that a Bowens mount adapter was included in the setup so that any of my attachments would fit. I was slightly disappointed that if I had the adapter on, I could not switch from the smaller diameter to the larger due to the adapter blocking access to the release button for the smaller diameter. I had to remove the adapter to gain access, which in reality is not difficult by any stretch and can be easily done.Overall, this is an incredibly flexible addition to my collection of lights, with all of my lights now getting to more LED than any other type of bulb. I have grown to like LED considerably more since they are more robust and less susceptible to bumps and other kinetic movements that may cause premature failure.With regard to the LED control, having the ability to adjust the lights remotely while looking through the lens so as to create the desired effects is truly time saving.
Gets very bright
Extremely portable studio light. Have to buy your own batteries for the handheld mount. Only thing is the color covers are not thick enough for how bright the bulb gets so they don't really help change the color of the light at full brightness.
