5.0 out of 5 stars For the Price, Well Worth It
No, it's not top-tier components- but good enough for my son to play Overwatch on medium to high settings with a consistent frame rate and minimum screen tear... I priced around a lot for an entry level custom gaming rig for him- and this one has the specs that are priced much higher elsewhere. Build quality was great, and the shipping materials were secure.Upsides:- It looks impressive. Fired up, the LEDs make it look like Cirque di Soleil is hiding out in your bedroom. Its fairly quiet, even running full tilt- the case seems high quality for sure.- I got Core i7, 32gig Ram, Radeon RX 580- a TB of storage... not the highest specs, but it is a DDR 4 Motherboard so it can be upgraded when ready and can run many games off Steam at high specs. For less than $600... its fantastic.- Ours worked right out of the box- Windows fired right up, plenty of docs to help if need be-Everything but the monitor and internet included. I priced around NewEgg, custom build sellers, used, CostCo- everywhere. I couldn't get these specs at that price anywhere else.Downsides:- I read all the reviews and was warned- I can't say enough- Be prepared to wire this to ethernet. Or purchase a higher quality external WiFi adapter that interfaces with ethernet. The Wifi capabilities of this out of the box is unusable.- Its nice it includes a mouse, keyboard, mouse pad, and sound bar- I hate to actually complain... but the keyboard and mouse especially are not the highest quality at all. They work, they all light up, and honestly, most desktops of any major vendor does not come with these accessories anymore, so for essentially freebies, they work. Just know if your gamer is picky about their gaming mouse and keyboard, an upgrade is likely needed.Final thoughts- I have been very impressed with the quality and performance of this machine. Honestly, for the price, it beats out a lot of the mainstream desktops on the market from HP or Dell. Great Comp.
1.0 out of 5 stars Failed almost immediately.
PROS:1) It looked nice. The clear, uncluttered case with the lit fans was very aesthetically pleasing. The fan covers had easily removable magnetic screens for easy cleaning.CONS:1) It Didn't Work: After setting up and installing windows updates, the machine failed on first use.Within a couple minutes of starting to play a game the entire system froze and needed to be shut off by the power button.Upon restart the video card was not recognized and the on-board video was failing as well with constant graphical errors even when sitting idle at the desktop without running any apps. This happened every time a game was played, trying multiple different games.Sometimes the graphics card would come online again and the machine would operate normally while not running any apps, but any time you attempt to play a game the machine would freeze and upon reboot the video would revert to on-board video with graphical errors.2) The included power cable was very short. I had to place the surge protector on top of the desk, right by the tower. Not a real complaint because this is a very inexpensive PC, just mildly frustrating in my opinion. If the machine had not failed, I would have just replaced it with a longer one.3) The wifi adapter was an external USB nano plug for laptops. Again, I understand it's a very inexpensive machine so this is just a personal preference on my part. It functioned fine for the few minutes that the machine was in use before failing, I just prefer a different type of wifi adapter. If the machine had not failed I would have just replaced it with something different.Overall, I wanted to like this machine. It looked nice and was budget friendly. I expected it to perform on the lower end, but not to just fail.
5.0 out of 5 stars Feature-Rich Gaming PC with Some Connectivity Issues
What's Most Important to Know: The STGAubron Gaming Desktop PC comes packed with powerful components and a range of RGB accessories that will appeal to gamers looking for a ready-to-use, visually appealing setup. However, its wireless connectivity leaves much to be desired.Review: I've been using the STGAubron Gaming Desktop PC for about a month, primarily for high-end gaming and multimedia tasks. The Intel Core i7-6700 processor and Radeon RX 580 graphics card provide robust performance, handling most modern games at high settings smoothly. The 32GB DDR4 RAM and a massive 2TB SSD are excellent for fast loading times and ample storage. The aesthetics of this setup are a major highlight—three RGB fans, an RGB keyboard and mouse, an RGB mouse pad, and an RGB Bluetooth soundbar create a dynamic and immersive gaming environment. The soundbar provides clear, rich audio, which enhances the gaming experience significantly. What I Liked and Disliked: The overall build quality and performance of the desktop are impressive. It's easy to set up out of the box, and the sheer amount of RGB gear included makes it a visually stunning addition to any gaming space. However, the major downside is the WiFi dongle, which I found to be underwhelming. The internet connectivity is inconsistent, with frequent drops that can be quite frustrating, especially during online gaming or streaming. Considering the importance of stable online connectivity in gaming, this is a significant drawback.Usage: This PC has been my primary device for gaming, video editing, and watching high-definition videos. The capabilities of the hardware make it ideal for demanding tasks, but the poor WiFi connection has limited its use for online-dependent activities.
4.0 out of 5 stars So good!
At first I worried about getting this but it works so well and comes so well, at first it says not to use some ports but don’t listen to it, the main one is in the back bottom right import if using it to connect to your monitor! It also comes with an internet port so make sure you use it! It’s speedy and the screen colors work so well! It’s compatibility work so well. I honestly would get this for my brother once it’s his birthday and it’s cheek for how good it is.
