First detergent that is kind to my girlfriend’s faux fur items!! We have thrown every type of faux fur at it. So far so good. Keeps the softness of the material and cleans it well.Washer settings I use: delicates 1 spin cold water only. Put this detergent in your detergent slot.Dryer settings: VERY IMPORTANT: Air dry only, no heat/temperature at all. If you can change the air dry time that’s fine.Well worth the extra time of not taking it to the dry cleaners. Cedar scent is a nice touch too! A+NEVER discontinue this product or I will be sad. I do wish it came in a bigger bottle though.

Only two cap full in my delicate wash cleans and conditions my merino and cashmere clothing feel wonderfully soft. The fragrance is light and refreshing. Sensitive to most artificial fragrances, I did not have a reaction. I have yet to use The Laundress on my silk scarves. The only negative is that cost per small load is quite expensive compared to other fine wool washes. The positive is merino wool is that merino is anti microbial and does not require daily washing like synthetic clothing. One star removed for cost.

I hand wash all my cashmere and wool sweaters and this product (that I have been using for years) does a very thorough yet gentle cleaning. I like the cedar scent as well.
