I was so sad when the laundries pulled their products off the shelves, but I forgave them instantly when I smelled this new scent. The smell is amazing and it lasts. Our clothes are extremely clean without the added chemicals and colorings to the detergent. I have extremely sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to any of the laundresses products. The quality of this product is fantastic and works very well.

Liked the detergent however, if you have a large load of pretty dirty clothes or kids clothes on steroids you will have to use anywhere from 4 to 6 pumps and even then, depending on load size, you may have to wash again. For large loads I use 3 full pumps into a half cup measuring spoon. For med loads just 2 pumps. Clothes come out clean and fresh with stains removed. Some deep old stains I let them sit with detergent for 1/2 hr or so. Gave 4 stars because for large extra dirty loads I had to rewash at least 1 time. I have a commercial size Maytag washer. Tide did a much better job for these types of loads. Still it is an admirable luxury I do love.

I hopped on the Laundress bandwagon after they changed the formula, so I can’t compare to how it was, but I am obsessed with this detergent. I bought the conditioner as well, so maybe this helps with the scent, but it’s so lovely.I’m someone who likes stronger scents, and used Persil for a long time, but wanted something different. While the scent isn’t as strong as Persil, it’s just the right amount. I get excited now to do my laundry because it smells so good. 10/10
1.0 out of 5 stars Completely new unrelated formula, now 31 load rather than 64 loads per bottle
One of the new executives after recall incident says the new formula is completely new and unrelated to the original formula other than the scent. Also the exact same bottle size I ordered in 2017 (pre-recall formula) said 64 loads per bottle, now it says only 31 loads. I used to add 1/2 - 3/4 capful per load, np0w I have to add 1-1.5 capful to get it to clean and not smell gross. Same price, half as effective and isn't even the same thing in formula.

Pros: Extremely nice scent; I tend to smell awful ammonia-like stench in majority of dishwashers and laundry detergents. The Laundress products don't give off these stench, and the fragrance is pleasant.Cons: You'll need to use a lot more than directed.

This detergent (classic) is a nice smell but nothing special. It really just smells like kind of nice laundry detergent, and the scent is so faint when my clothes come out of the dryer that it doesn’t matter that I used it. It cleans well enough, but I’ll stick with my other highly scented detergent that smells amazing and leaves a noticeable scent on my clothes

What I like is this detergent is concentrated so alittle goes a long way. Clothes do seem to come out clean and fresh. It has a great scent in the bottle but once you wash and dry, the scent is not there. So yes it is expensive but does seem to wash well and you don’t use as much at a time. Wish there was more of an after wash smell.

Cleans well and has a strong, lasting scent which I find pleasant. I only use it on my sheets and towels, however, since it is so strong.
