Works great. Hotter than expected so be careful
5.0 out of 5 stars Best heart lamp.
I tried a few heart lamps and this one was the best. Baby birds lived it because it doesn't give off light only heat!
5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfectly
Nice and affordable I used it for my baby corn snake and it gets her tank really warm.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very hot
These get extremely hot and don’t project heat super well. I’ve been using them for a few weeks and they’ve held up fine, but I have them attached to dimmers because otherwise I think they would bake my snakes. I’m switching to basking bulbs for the daytime, but these might be good for supplemental heat at night in a large enclosure since they don’t emit any light.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for keeping keezer warm in Winter
My beer keezer/kegerator is in the garage at my house in Upstate NY. It gets cold, so I put this in a lamp holder hooked up to an Inkbird controller. It keeps my keezer over freezing and the beer at the perfect temperature.

The first package, one of the lamps was broken, but Bolo pulled thru and sent a new package and I did not have to send the 1st package back. I thought that was fantastic and after using these for a while, they did the job. Used in my 2.5 car garage (both lamps used and no flammables in the area) in the feral cat area to keep them kats warm while we had some of the worse cold snaps in years (minus 10F to 15F with 20 to 40 mph winds). These kept the area so warm, I did not need to use a heated water dish. I will be putting these away for the season back into their boxes and we will see if they will work next year. But in the meantime, these did the job. A friend uses these at 75 watt in his pumphouse down in Ga to keep the water flowing. That is where I got the idea. :)
5.0 out of 5 stars Keep things from freezing
I was putting 200- and 250-watt heaters in five spaces in my motorhome to keep the water lines from freezing. I winterized the water lines, but there was one water line that I couldn't winterize that went from the freshwater tank to the pump, which Winnebago decided to put on the opposite sides of the RV. I still use one 200-watt heater to pass warm air through the chase that goes across the back of the RV along the outside wall, and I put one of these het bulbs in a compartment to keep a part of the line warm in the last few feet before reaching the pump. Winnebago also didn't allow for adding pink antifreeze (propylene glycol) to the freshwater tank. I have left the water in the tank and occasionally turn on a 250-watt heater to keep the water from freezing. It takes a while for it to freeze. I would like to pour pink antifreeze in the tank and pump it through the water line. I will work on that.
