I hadn't flown a "real" drone in over 2 years. I was going to get a DJI but the delivery date was too far out because I wanted a drone for a specific date. I watched a lot of reviews on YouTube and decided to gives this one a shot. Are the videos cinema quality? No, but they look good. The gimbal really does its job keeping the horizon steady and flat. I could see the drone fighting the wind but the videos have been smooth. It controls nice. The flight time is excellent. The auto flight modes work well and provide some nice options for pictures. This drone is definitely a solid pic for the price. I don't expect to be missing the DJI that I didn't buy. If I have one concern it would be that it seems like if it crashed from anywhere above 6ft it probably would break. No hitting walls with this one..LOL.

This drone is everything it claims and more. I love the 3 batteries that really do last 30 min each and charge quickly (less than a hour) in one charger! The picture and video quality is super crisp and clean in truly HD and 4K. The amazing ease of use!!! As a beginner drone user I was able to fly, take great pictures, and videos within minutes...soo much easier than it's competition. Summary... Super simple to use / does everything they claim / comes with extras like 3 batteries and charging case plus a SD card already inserted and ready / Updates automatically / Great carrying case / Just Unpack & Play!!!Even my 8 & 7 year old girls had it figured out quickly.Don't Waste Your Time With These Drones:Holy Stone HS900 (only 1 battery, updates would not work correctly, picture and video quality not nearly as good).&HYTQBO AE8 EVO (was obviously a return and not packedged well, could not get it to fly after hours of scratching my head).

This is the first drone that I have ever flown. I am completely impressed! There is a little setup learning curve but once you have that figured out it is not only simple, but it is fun and easy to fly. The 3 axis camera is super steady and has an incredible picture for a drone at this price point. If you can afford the extra $100 for the fly more kit, I would recommend it as you will get the carry bag and an extra battery along with a few other accessories. I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Purchased the Atom 3 axis gimble fly more kit in February 2024.I have only put maybe 2 hours of flight time on this Drone as I have been busy with outdoor projects. Today I had some free time and thought I would get some Drone time in. When I powered on the Drone and entered the Potensic app, there was a Firmware update notice to version 3.4.5. I decided to go ahead with the update since I had a fully charged Batteries and Controller. After the update I noticed my Gimble would not stay in the neutral position and would drift all the way up on its own. So I powered everything off, exited the App and tried again with same issue. I tried calibrating the Gimble but it did not fix the issue. Tried calibrating the remote control and was not able to complete the process because the Gimble control did not respond correctly.Powered off everything again, this time I could complete the remote control calibration but the Gimble still would pan up all the way and would not hold the position set.Ok, I give up and try contacting Potensic support, we will see how good the Customer service is at Potensic.Everything else works like it should, just the Gimble issue. This a deal breaker for me because I bought this for the great reviews and image quality at the priceI really hope Potensic will stand behind their product. I will update this review when/if I get a response from Potensic. After working with Potensic I decided this drone may be defective and returned it for a refund and went back to the drawing board to research another sub 249g Drone to purchase.UPDATE - Potensic reached out to me and offered to send me a new drone Kit with single battery to give the Potensic another try. Sure glad theyHorizoe received the new drone today 7/24/2024 and immediately started charging the Battery and Remote control. After a full charge I went thru and loaded the Potensic app, calibrated everything and went out to do some test flying. WOW! The Camera Gimble worked flawlessly, it did not move up or down by itself and the Horizon was dead flat. The video looked great, smooth and seemless. Battery life is very good and charges quickly. I went thru all the preconfigured quick shots, tried the GPS mapping, RTH feature, shot video at 4K 30fps, took pictures and I have to say this Drone really performs extremely well for the price paid.I am extremely glad Potensic reached out to me and asked me to give them another chance. So in conclusion, I would like to give a much deserved shout out to Potensic customer service for making EVERY EFFORT to add another happy customer to the ever expanding number of people who are flying Potensic Atom Drones, and thank you for not giving up on me!I would recommend this Atom Drone to family and friends and to anyone who is looking for a really fun quality Drone to fly!
Easy to fly and nice video quality
The media could not be loaded. I am really impressed with this little thing. It is really easy to setup and start flying for a noob like me, and the controls are easy to pickup and get used to. The video quality on this here is pretty impressive too, especially considering the price.The footage is really stable, even when in `sport mode` and going pretty fast (like 20mph in winds) - and the gimbal is easy to control and get the shots that I want without thinking about it too hard.One thing I noticed is that in `auto` mode while filming, it can really blow out highlights if there is a lot of contrast, say with green trees and white sidewalk. Fortunately you can modify the the ISO and shutter speed to help combat this, but it isn't always ideal since you only have so many flight minutes per battery. I'm hoping later firmware updates will help here, but I'm not holding my breath - and it isn't really a big deal.Battery life is really respectable, I am impressed with how long this thing flies. In my tests its like 20 minutes before I land, but I tend to land with some battery left in case I see something else I want to film or fly over - so I don't doubt the advertised 30 minute flight time (assuming the right conditions)The GPS is pretty good, and I quite like the autoreturn and autoland features, but I've gotten more comfortable doing both manually (its kind of fun) so I don't use that as much now. But it works, and works pretty good.I don't have any complaints, I really like this thing and look forward to flying it when ever I see a nice day out. It checked all my boxes too:- be a good price- have good and stable footage- have at least 20 minutes of flight time per chargeI didn't try any of the intelligent flight modes, and I'm not really super interested in them - but if I do try them I'll update this review with additional information on what I think about them.But overall: this is a great drone, I love it and would buy another in a heartbeat.

Il drone Potensic Atom รจ molto ben costruito con materiali di alta qualitร . Ha un caricabatterie davvero fantastico e puoi caricare 3 batterie e il telecomando contemporaneamente. La scheda SD da 64 GB giร installata nel drone รจ stata davvero una bella sorpresa. Mi piace lo stile del telecomando. ร unico e funziona abbastanza bene anche con telefoni di grandi dimensioni. Far volare il drone รจ davvero semplice in quanto รจ molto stabile e mantiene la posizione molto bene grazie al posizionamento visivo OPTI e al GPS. ร molto reattivo ai comandi e facile da manovrare.

Ich nutze die Drohne hauptsรคchlich fรผr Landschaftsaufnahmen und bin begeistert, wie detailreich und klar die Aufnahmen sind. Egal, ob bei Tageslicht oder in der Dรคmmerung โ die Kamera liefert gestochen scharfe Bilder mit lebendigen Farben. Besonders bei Videoaufnahmen merkt man den Unterschied: Die Auflรถsung in Kombination mit dem 3-Achsen-Gimbal sorgt fรผr butterweiche Videos, die fast schon an professionelle Filmqualitรคt herankommen. Selbst bei schnellen Flugbewegungen oder leichtem Wind bleibt das Bild stabil und wackelfrei. Fantastic drone
I am so impressed! My friend has an dji mini 3 and even he had to admit it was just as good as his drone, and even has more fuctions. No issues, everything works perfect. Rock solid in strong winds and delivers bautiful pictures and video. Tested it out to 1,6km in less than ideal conditions before I lost contact, and the drone returned perfectly and landed within 1 meter of homepoint. Highly recommend this one.
