5.0 out of 5 stars This Heater is Exactly as Advertised
This diesel heater is a great little heater. The remote control works great and makes it nice not to have to step outside to turn it on or off. My son and I built a wooden base for it to stand on so it’s very secure. I bought treated lumber so it will hold up in the snow. I also added about a 6-to-7-foot marine grade exhaust hose onto the end of the exhaust that comes with the unit. I did this to keep any carbon monoxide as far away from the fresh air intake as possible. Then I bought about a 3-inch marine grade hose for the inlet that feeds into my camper shell. I love this setup and it keeps my camper shell super warm. I highly recommend this particular unit to anyone looking to buy a diesel heater.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive
Picked up this unit because of its portable feature. This thing puts out a lot of heat, minimal noise and is fairly easy to install hard to believe to get such a good year for such a cheap price. Figured I’d get one of these before the government decided to get “involved”.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good
Bought this for overlanding. Great and easy to set up.First heat puts out about 190 degrees however depending on the tubing you use the output temperature will decrease. I used this for an overnight winter camping trip in -11 degrees Fahrenheit and kept my rooftop tent at and comfortable 60-50 degrees. Used about 3/4 tank of fuel on high for a duration of 8 hours. If you intend to use this for winter camping or outside in sub zero temps tires I would add anti-gel for the diesel as there is no insulation in the unit. The electrical usage is very minimal at about 30w running on high. On start up and shut down the unit will use the most watts and amps but one it gets going usage drops significantly. I’ve found I can run this unit off a 500wh battery pack and only use about half of the battery through the night. However on start-up/shit down a standard 12v outlet will not put out enough amps to get the unit started. I will use a jump starter to get the unit running then switch over power to the battery pack through the night.Only complaint is the connection for the electrical input does not have a easy disconnect and requires a complete re-wire if you switch out the cable. And the “remote” it comes with is near useless and confusing to set up.Overall very happy with the unit and better than any other forms of heat I’ve used.
1.0 out of 5 stars I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO ALL THE BAD REVIEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I regret wasting over $100 for this Chinese knockoff, but I was hoping for the best. And the best, was far from what I received. Living off grid I was hoping that this machine would be a God send for our, heating needs, but it was NOT. The instructions are worthless, so you have to watch YT vids in order to find out how to operate the start up basics, and it goes down hill from there. It took about 30 mins to finally get it prime totally and then start. It ran good for about 6 hours and then the error codes started from there and have not stopped. My husband fixes multi-million dollar machines, yet this one can't stay running longer than 3 minutes without error code, after error code, after error code. If it is not the fan, it's the voltage, or the motor. We SHOULD NOT have to buy parts and rebuild a machine that is brand new regardless of where it comes from, but that is what you will have to do if you want this thing to work for more than a day or two. Why is such a simple machine not manufactured in the USA? Are we not capable of producing and selling such a simple heating machine? This VEVOR machine is complete TRASH and I would NOT RECOMMEND this to anyone. Keep your hard earned money in your pocket. I would like to get the authentic German heater, but I can't afford that one right now. We have to stop supporting these cheap, knock off producing countries and go back to USA made products. I guess that is wishful thinking . DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AS YOU WILL BE SORRY VERY QUICKLY.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised
Saw a lot of videos about this product on Facebook, was skeptical at first but then thought I would give it a try to heat my small workshop 10x16. Like many mentioned the instructions could be better but most of it you can figure out. The exhaust pipe does get almost glowing red hot so be careful where you install that. I added a couple extra lengths of pipe and coiled it inside to capture the heat before piping it outside. Is a little loud but the heat output is perfect for small spaces. The remote is great as well. I turn it on about half a hour before going out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Heater
Got barrage of ads for this little beast on TicTok (like how did they know that I ran out of fire wood?). I wasn’t too sure about it but for such a reasonable price, I thought I would give it a go. Bought through Bolo because I wanted to ensure it would be returnable.I installed it in a 15x15 4-season porch which I use as an office in New England. Not much insulation so I needed something that would keep up with the heat loss without costing a mint.So far, so good. I am happy with it. I used an old PC power supply to give it the AC->DC (check YouTube for vids on how). I was able to drill holes in the floor to fit in-take and exhaust lines out with a hole saw and a drill.I got the 5kw and run it at max and it keeps me comfortable. I wish that I had gotten the 8kw just to have some extra capacity. So far I am using about a gallon of diesel a day.I put in a cheap CO meter just in case. It hasn’t been a problem. There was a little fuel smell at the beginning but it went away after a couple of days. The blower is aggressive but it is a pleasant rushing sound and does not impact video calls made from 5’ away. Not bad.Remote starter works well. I didn’t think I wanted one but it is nice to fire this thing up when I wake up and it is toasty by the time I am ready to work.Vevor has impressed me.
Remote control dead on arrival
Remote control is deadJust now had time to test. Heater works well but the remote (hand held) control is non functional. Yes I put fresh batteries in it. Any chance you can replace the remote for me
Prodotto efficiente
