I bought this for two 13-year-olds and I haven't given it to them but I do believe that they're going to really enjoy it. I can't wait to give it to them because I was looking at it and it looks like a lot of fun and I like the fact that he incorporated a pen that can be used for writing or whatever if they like to your they could do it with the pen.

The pen writes well enough, but to change the configuration into all the items they had pictured, you have to take the whole pen apart. It’s a mess. It wasn’t worth the hassle the return so I’m giving it to my son for Christmas. Let him take care of the mess
