My husband purchased these because we seem to always lose them.They are normal scissors. They work well and are sharp. However when I use them they feel like they are made of lesser quality materials. I think they will be fine with paper but I don't know if they will hold up with anything heavier.

I bought these scissors to take with me for my friends when I went overseas earlier this year. The scissors seem very strong. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the scissors, but at an economical price.

I really like my Almarto 8" All Purpose Scissors. The set has 6 scissors for $8. They are sharp. My old scissors couldn't even cut a plastic bag. These new scissors cut it like butter. They are nice and tight between blades, no wiggle. I like the soft rubber inside the handles. The handle openings are just the right size to fit my thumb in one handle and 3 fingers in the other handle. You would be able to hold these even if you have big fingers. A lot of scissors have a pin holding the blades together. These scissors have a screw. So I would guess if they got loose you could tighten them back up. I love all the different vibrant colors. For Price and Quality, you cant go wrong buying these scissors.

We are always leaving our scissors here and there and we seem to spend a lot of time searching for them so I got this set so there's always a pair nearby. They are nice and sharp - I've used them in the kitchen too for food since they are stainless steel. Only had them for a few weeks but I've washed them and let them air dry and so far no rust. Good price for inexpensive, yet useful, scissors.
