I have been a runner for many years. Even with a healthy diet and incorporating red meat, just over a year ago, I discovered that my iron, ferritin, and iron saturation percentage were all very low. I was a month out from doing the Chicago Marathon and needed to help my iron levels quickly. I had heard a professional athlete recommend this product when she had low iron, so I gave it a try. I took iron supplements along with Goodphyte. I was able to successfully run my marathon and was feeling better by race day. When I re-tested my iron levels 3 months after initially finding the low numbers, they had improved significantly - especially the ferritin. I continue to take iron supplements and Goodphyte and consistently run 30-60 miles a week depending on what I'm training for.I have a somewhat sensitive stomach and have never had an issue with these.

This supplement is supposed to give you immunity support and help with digestion. I just started taking it and I don’t have any problems with it so far.

Thought I’d try this after reading so many great reviews but really disappointed to see one of the ingredients is maltodextrin which can cause inflammatory gut responses. So for a product that is supposed to help gut issues I’m confused as to why this ingredient is added to the product. If interested I suggest you research maltodextrin before ordering this product

My wife has lactose intolerance, and since she started doing clinical rotations, has found herself with the challenging of getting an adequate amount of nutrients in (irregular hours, often on her feet, with a lot of high stress and little healthy food in sight). I grabbed these in the hopes to curtail some of the more intense digestive hurdles she's faced as of late, and the additional zinc, to aid in immunity, is certainly an unexpected, yet welcome, plus. These are simple enough to factor into times before meals, and we were optimistic as my Mother-in-law SWEARS by digestive enzymes.After some careful consideration and research, we think these are more than suitable for our needs, and we're going to continue taking these for the foreseeable future. I'm not certain how effective the "immunity" bit of this is, but I've had it explained that zinc helps curb certain viruses from replicating in the body. Beyond this, the enzymes, I believe, do a pretty good job with bloating, food digestion (especially in tandem with fiber supplement—WRITE THAT DOWN), and a general sense of health and ease. Pretty solid supplement that I feel more people need to consider taking, in sleek packaging and with a nice punch to them.

So based on the description, it says that it is poor immunity, but also seems to include some element of digestion. The one I received is indeed immunity, and the ingredients do include zinc, but not some of the other more typical immunity type supplements I know of. I ordered this, specifically because when I travel I find that I get sick and it upsets my stomach. I can say that a week into travel, I have not yet got sick, but my bowel habits aren't great. I don't know if it has anything to do in the supplement, or if it's just eating out a lot. Overall, I haven't noticed any significant improvement in any way, so I doubt I will be reordering this one.
