5.0 out of 5 stars UPDATED 3/6/2022: READ ME! Not as bad as people say! people just love to complain.
READ THIS IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING BUYING THIS GUITAR!!! I bought this used - very good for 45 bucks about a year ago. I probably would not pay full price, as much as I love it. That being said, IT IS NOT JUNK GIVE IT TIME! I swear half the people leaving negative reviews have no idea how guitars work. I am a full grown adult guitar player, and I've been playing since high school. I'm in college now, and I needed something small and light to travel with. I DON'T USE THIS AS MY EVERYDAY GUITAR! I reach for this guy if I'm messing around with chords, my fingers hurt from my metal strings, or I'm just trying to relax. It's great to practice on, but not so much if you're trying to actually play in front of people. Nylons aren't meant to be used like metal stringed acoustics, they're a separate instrument! It still works for that purpose, though, you can play the same exact songs and chords. If you tune it properly it gets the job done. Great for my college dorm or throwing in the car for a camping trip cus it's super light. Great to practice on when I don't feel like lugging my full sized acoustic around. This is a decent product for the price I PAID. Being a nylon string guitar, you have to stretch the strings and tune it quite a bit (2-4 days is recommended for the strings to settle - watch a youtube tutorial on how to do it) Furthermore, the plastic strings that everyone complains about are standard on a nylon. Heck, the C40 from Yamaha, well established nylon, has the same type (but higher quality, I bet) if I recall. They do go out of tune pretty frequently, especially at the start, but it's not even that much - just retune them! The tuner works well for me, but if you don't like it, just get an app like GuitarTuna. Now, for the guitar itself, it's what I expected when I bought it for 45 bucks, barely even damaged since I got a higher quality used (or less damaged I guess) version, and I have to say, it has really grown on me. Guitars are instruments, not toys. You can't give it to a kid and expect them to learn the ins and outs. If you really want them to learn guitar, buy them a cheap acoustic like a rogue or Yamaha, a C40 is a great nylon but you could also get them a metal string, and get them lessons! Find a music store near you, it might be a bit pricey but it's the best way to learn. Originally I recommended swapping the strings, but it's not worth it to be honest. I got it back in 2021 for 45 USD used, and I love it for what I use it for. If you're dead-set on a cheap starter guitar, or you want an affordable spare, grab this but follow my advice. If you really want to learn, shell out the extra money and buy a tried and true brand. For the full price, 80 bucks is not worth it. Get a rogue for that money. Anyway, that's my rant, hope this helps! (I even bumped my review up from 4 to 5 stars - when I first wrote it, it was 1 star because I didn't understand stretching the nylon strings - IT TAKES TIME! but I genuinely love this thing!) Enjoy!
5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Child's Guitar for the Money. NOT a toy.
I've been playing acoustic guitar for over 60 years, and have owned cheap ones, good ones and ones for which you'd happily pawn your grandmother's Picasso. This very inexpensive 3/4-size starter was a perfect birthday gift for my 10-year-old student who was struggling with a kid-sized solid-body and a touchy amp. It's solid, with nice tone and a neck width & length he can handle. The strings must be retuned when new to get them properly stretched, but that happens with all nylon strings. (The guitar ships with loose strings.) The intonation is very good for the price, just a few cents off at the octave. There were no buzzes, and the nut had no sharp edges to nick the strings. The action is a just little high at the body (not unusually so, but a bit too high for playing easily in the higher frets); that's not an issue for playing near first position, which most people do for years. (The action could be lowered with a simply shaving of the bridge, if the frets aren't too prominent.) The nylon strings are a must for kids' fingers on any cheap acoustic guitar. (Tight steel strings and a high action are a major reason they quit early.) The 3/4 size creates a manageable body, shorter scale and smaller fret spaces, all of which help as well. The included "gig bag" is slightly protective; one reviewer called it more a "dust cover," but that's OK. I didn't check out the included YouTube introductory lessons. There's an included tuner and instructions for using it. (Tuning is one of the harder things for kids to learn.)All in all a great value, promptly delivered!
4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect beginner set
I got this for my daughter to start learning guitar. There were many options, but if you have kids you know that they might love something they want to try, or they might not. This is a perfect price point to try it out! She has loved learning, and will continue until the next thing she wants to try!
This great acoustic guitar
The delivery was at my door early—- very good serviceGuitar looks great, very good craftsmanshipThe guitar came with body strap. Picks, extra strings, a electronics guitar tunerYou really can’t say any negative comments on the productIf you go in to a guitar shop in your hometown..you can’t never get a super deal like thisManufacturers, suppliers, retailers are much better these days, they know consumers wants good products, easy no hassle return policy,Noticed all 3 metal strings are oxidizing - there are brown spots. This is not good as it means the are deteriorating. I’ll connect with seller to see if they will provide additional strings.

Awesome product
It is a very good guitar. Perfect size for 13 years old boy.
