The tongs and lifter are easy to use, the handles are quite long once assembled. The crucibles look good and were packed very well.

I use a ceramic kiln to heat up my crucibles to melt copper and these worked perfectly for reaching down inside the kiln at temperatures above 1500° and it made it super easy to pour it felt like I had a really good grip on everything the cost I feel is high but everything else that is like it is also around the same price range so I think it’s in the market it is it is good price for the market but I do think that for tongs it is priced pretty high they are built very well the withstand heat You’re a great size and weight

The tongs seem pretty nice. There's very little flex in them and they grip the included crucibles very securely. Highly recommend these (or something like them) if you're using tongs that grip around the lip of a crucible on only one side. The furnace I bought came with tongs intended to be used like that and they bent after one use. Pretty dangerous to use something like that, and your life is worth the money that these nicer tongs cost. Just make sure to follow the instructions for how to use them, specifically the parts about the notches in the lifting tongs being flush with the top of the crucible, and the 90 degree tab on the pouring tongs also being flush with the top of the crucible. Don't light yourself on fire.I haven't used the crucibles yet.

Originally the handle and some of the screws were missing. However after contacting the seller they sent me replacement parts after contacting them and reporting the issue. I have bought other tongs from them and all of them work well for my crucibles.

Looks and feel quite solid
Impressed at the quality of the tongs, looks to be stainless steel jaws and aluminum handles. I was expecting some thin cheep crap but there actually thick high quality extruded aluminum and are extremely solid. Quite impressed

I have not used them in anger yet, too hot here in Australia ATM. Impressed with the overall quality,laser cut stainless steel that fits the supplied crucibles perfectly.
First order damaged second still not received
First order was damaged, no refund processed. Second order still hasn't arrived 4 weeks later???
These are Strong, Durable, and Well Made Tongs. And they can make you look Cool.
I am using these Tongs for Gold Smelts so they get hit with a lot of heat. slag, and Sulphur gas. Very good corrosion resistance given the working environment. I highly recommend these for home use as they much more securely hold the Crucible and prevent dropping and spilling. Bad for wine on a carpet...even worse for molten glass and metal at 1000°C hitting the floor. They work on Crucibles outside the given size range, smaller or bigger, however the hold can be loose so only attempt this if you have goodly experience. If you use the correct size Crucible it is held Very Securely during Oven Removal or when transferred to the Pour Tongs. They definitely feel solid and the handles don't slip. No loosening of the hinge bolts and no discolouration of the metal which is a surprise. These are way better than the hoaky homemade ones we used in college. If you do the crossed-wrist pour (all the way around), then you will really appreciate the control that the Pour tongs give you with a well held crucible. Again, the correct crucible is absolutely best however the Tongs do a great job of compensating for other sizes as well. I would definitely buy again however I don't ever see the need to. Great Product. :D
Unsafe lifting tongs
Lifting tongs arent made right and will crack the Crucible with the teo tiny contact points right at the top edge, other end doesnt touch lol
