5.0 out of 5 stars Dangerous toy, not for little ones
Tank is huge and has heft. Definitely some high quality scaled down replica of a tank. Not a military guru so I don't know what kind of tank this is. But at age 44, this tank fulfills the biggest fantasy dream for when I was a kid. Always wanting to have a tank toy and in my upbringing we definitely didn't have the means for something like this in our family. When I come across one of these I was so excited to volunteer and review it.The tank itself. This toy is meant for older kids and adults. The tank runs fast and turns quickly. The remote control doesn't do enough fine-tuning for each of the tank's turn and minute actions. And I get that. The tank has a turret that fires BB balls, and it does not disappoint. The power of those BB's shot from the turret resembles sprung BB guns power level; it actually hurts when I got hit by it. So only responsible kids and adults are recommended to play with something like this. I wouldn't let my 3-year old go near this thing. All the rest features about this tank just made it all even better, water vapor smokes, turret kickback, LED warning for shots being fired, all play into how well this tank's being designed. I find myself fully content playing with it in the backyard cashing squirrels out at times. Fun toy but dangerous for anyone smaller than elementary level.
5.0 out of 5 stars Realistic
The toy feels strong and real! It has the sound, smoke, and function of the real tank. It's pretty fun to play with.
2.0 out of 5 stars Rollers for track junk
One of the rollers for the track broke on the 1st day my son used it. Bought it for him for his birthday, was the only thing he had been asking for. Within the 1st hour of using it a roller broke in half, he was playing lightly with it, just driving in the house was all.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tanks for this great toy.
This is a great RC tank. It’s a ton of fun. It drive perfectly, and the turret goes round, plus the cannon goes up and down. The firing mechanism on the cannon is insanely powerful for a little toy. I test fired it, not realizing it had ammo in it. The ball shot out, hit the styrofoam packing 12” away, then ricocheted back at me 4’ away and hit with enough force that I felt the sting. I am really impressed with this toy.Granted, it can’t drive through any wet areas, but as long as you are running it on dry ground, this thing can climb over almost anything. Great fun!
4.0 out of 5 stars simple controls, large, performance better than expected; only comes with one battery
This tank exceeded my expectations. I've had a couple of other tanks, but this has been the best. It shoots actual BBs or water beads which both my kids were thrilled with. The shots and pack more of a punch than I thought they would. The tank is really easy to control, and I haven't had any issues with responsiveness. The smoke feature works great and is really fun to use. Both my 8 year old and the 14 year old can drive it without issue. Battery life is average. It only comes with one battery which I didn't like. Really, I think an RC vehicle of any kind should come with two batteries to extend playtime. Overall, this is a really good quality RC tank for older kids or adults, but I wish it had come with two batteries.
5.0 out of 5 stars For all you guys that didn't get what you really wanted as a kid.
The media could not be loaded. Yes I got this for myself and yes I'm 78 years old and yeas as a youngster I was disappointed on many holidays. This thing is so cool. The movie shows him running around and the exhaust "smoke" is actually water vapor. Genius. The third pic shows the plastic "BBs" it shoots and then the compartment you load them into. Theirs even a secret compartment that has an on off switch so you can't say you "accidentally" shot someone with the cannon. .My wife came into the room (her mistake) and I shot he in the back of her thigh. Well she did have genes on but she said it really hurt, so I said, "Yeah right". So I held my hand in front of the cannon and fired. The Last picture doesn't show it very well but she was right, It left a welt. Having been in my share a Red Rider BB Gun fights as a kid, I say it's about half as powerful as the RRBG and shoots the hard orange BBs shown next to the dime. While you're watching the video when it turns and fires the cannon in my direction, you can see it fire and the tripod move a little when it hits the tripod. At least it didn't his my phone camera glass.Haven't had it outside yet cause it's a rainy day but can't wait. It's just fun to play around with. Highly recommend it for the guy in your life or the guy who just wants one for himself. I'd say just be careful if you give it to a kid too young who has cats, dogs, or younger siblings. It hurts :-)
5.0 out of 5 stars A very realistic, fun RC tank with all the bells & whistles an operator could want 5☆
This RC tank is one of the higher quality, fun and realistic RC vehicles that I have purchased or even messed around with. As with any RC vehicle you need one with a great controller if you want a fantastic experience and this one definitely has that kind of controller. The fact that it can remotely launch bullets is definitely cool and a super fun extra. I also very much appreciate that there's the ability to adjustment the volume and a way to make it smoke. It has a simulated mechanical sound effect that sounds kind of realistic and doesn't get annoying like some RC vehicles do. The controls for the turret and driving the tank are very fluid and consistent plus there is a cool LED searchlight. This tank is well made, has good battery life and comes with some cool extras. A fantastic, fun RC tank!
5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice Tank
This is an absolute fantastic tank this is working so well for me the smoke in the back is very cool it does everything it even has hatches on the top where you can lift the hatches up it is awesome this is a full tracked tank the turret moves I mean it is very realistic and very well done for the money I'm going to collect this one
It’s a leopard one not a t90
I believe this is a leopard one tank I believe, but none the less it works very well.
Massive toy
This toy comes in a huge box and it’s all embellished with colourful prints, so unpacking it is quite an experience.I was planing to give the tank to my two boys for Christmas but unpacking it with my husband changed the future, now the tank shall be his Christmas gift (and he is an adult) it seems that a lot of boys or ex little boys dream about a tank, I had no clue. The tank itself is a 1:18 replica of a real (Russian ?) tank and it is entirely made of plastic (except the screws of course ) to be honest for the hefty price tag I was hoping it would be a die cast replica but it’s not. The tracks are also hard plastic I was hoping that they would be some more flexible rubber. There are various features that make this tank exciting, in addition to the looks: it can produc steam (I add water) which resembles smoke, and it can shoot , with little hard balls the size of BBs.The tank is controlled with a remote that needs additional batteries (not provided, AA) and the remote functions on 2.4 GHz so interference with other toys is a possibility. We did not abuse the tank much, it only travelled on flat ground in the living room. My husband had a blast with it, be aware that while the beads are not metal, they are still hard and they can hurt or damage something when shoot at.I cannot talk about durability, as teh tank is new to use. It appears solid and well made, but I don’t want to assume anything.Value for what you get is medium, as this toy is really pricey (currently just under $170)If within you budget, definitely recommend it. I imagined that a tank would be more of a niche toy, but it seems more desirable and popular than I thought.Fascinating toy, reallyThank you
Don't shoot your wife, she might take it away!
Who doesn't want a tank? This thing is fun! It probably requires more adult supervision than i possess. I like the engine smoke. you can push the sound button to start it up and the steam is immediate. Makes a starter sound and a little stream comes out. It makes me smile every time! The features are fairly realistic. The recoil when it fires. The sounds are not great, it is a small speaker, but it is still plenty of fun.The second battery is a nice touch, about an hour of constant playtime with both charged up, and it allows you to always have a full one ready to go.I took pictures for scale. Everyone should know the size of a laser thermometer.
Battle Tank
Unit arrives with two batteries that both have a decent charge, but no batteries for the remote (4 AAs needed). Has water beads and air soft beads for firing, and it is greatly appreciated that there is a tucked away power switch for the cannon, to safety the "gun" when the kids want to play with the tank. Very sensitive joysticks on the controller that don't take any time to get the hang of. The turret is a bit slow to rotate and seems to struggle a bit with elevating. Otherwise this thing is a blast. A little water tank with a nebulizer to make it look like diesel exhaust which accompanies squeaking metal on metal track sounds and generic diesel engine sounds. The cannon firing draws the barrel back then kicks the whole tank up with artificial recoil. Very cool effect.Fun for 4, 8 and 36yo, would be great for any war-buffs.
Entertaining for Kids, Adults, and Even the Cats
I got this remote control tank, and it has been such a fun addition for the whole family. The level of detail is incredible, from the realistic sounds to the smoke effects that come out when you add water. It even has two firing modes, which everyone gets a kick out of—my kids love shooting the water bombs, and the recoil action is surprisingly lifelike. The tank is easy to control and moves smoothly, with options to rotate 360 degrees and navigate different surfaces around the house and yard. Our cats are also super curious about it and love to watch it go. It’s definitely become a conversation piece when friends come over, and everyone wants to give it a try.The rechargeable battery lasts a long time, giving us plenty of playtime before needing a recharge. Overall, it’s a well-made, entertaining toy that’s enjoyable for adults, kids, and even pets! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique, interactive toy that brings the family together.
